Kingdom Dreamers are those that rule the world – Pastor Steve Ogah – Day 1 Morning Session Word 3

Day 1: Morning Session (Word 3)

Speaker: Pastor Steve Ogah

Topic: Kingdom Dreamers are those that rule the world

Kingdom dreamers rule the world. And that’s the subject we’ll be looking at. Very unique subject, very different subject this morning. Kingdom dreamers are those that rule the world. I’d like to begin this morning by establishing that the kingdom of God is principally a kingdom of mysteries. The kingdom of God is essentially or principally a kingdom of mysteries.

And what are mysteries? Mysteries are simply hidden secrets or concealed truths.

Deuteronomy 29: 29 The secret things belong unto the LORD our God: but those things which are revealed belong unto us and to our children forever, that we may do all the words of this law.

The Bible says the secret things belong to God. But the things which are revealed, they now belong to us and our children. Mysteries are simply hidden secrets or concealed truths. They are available to all but accessible by few. Available to all but accessible by few.

Mark 4:1 And he began again to teach by the sea side: and there was gathered unto him a great multitude, so that he entered into a ship, and sat in the sea; and the whole multitude was by the sea on the land.

and he said to them unto you it is given to know the mysteries of the kingdom but unto them that are without all these things are parables they don’t make sense they can’t understand them they can’t interpret them so when we talk about the mysteries of the kingdom they available to every child of God but they are searchable by few that is why the ones who understand the mysteries are the ones that command the wonders that the commanders of the wonders I pray this morning that God will open someone’s eyes here this morning.

Well, if you are saying amen, please say it like a true believer, now, one of the great mysteries of the kingdom of God is the mystery of kingdom dreams. Kingdom dreams. Kingdom dreams. Kingdom dream is gateway to a world of supernatural breakthrough. Kingdom dream is gateway to a world of supernatural breakthrough.

1 Corinthians 2:9 & 10 – But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him.

10But God hath revealed them unto us by his Spirit: for the Spirit searcheth all things, yea, the deep things of God.

But as it is written, the Bible says, I have not seen.

1 Corinthians 2:9 I have not seen nor ears heard, neither has it entered the heart of man, the things that God has reserved or prepared

Not for everyone, not for everyone in church, not for everyone shouting hallelujah, not for everyone jumping and jubilating in church, but for them that love him, so the best of God is reserved for lovers of God, the best of God though available to all but reserved exclusively for lovers of God. Those with kingdom dreams, those whose heart are panting after the advancement of the kingdom.

So, the best of God is reserved for kingdom dreamers. Those with a heart for God, those whose hearts are aligned with God, those who are passionate for the advancement, the promotion of the kingdom and its agenda. I see many of such seated here this morning. God will use many people seated here to advance his kingdom. If you are saying amen, shout it like a true believer.

In other words, a heart for God is the breeding ground for kingdom dreams. A heart for God is the breeding ground for kingdom dreams.

1 kings 8:17 & 18 And it was in the heart of David my father to build an house for the name of the LORD God of Israel.

18And the LORD said unto David my father, whereas it was in thine heart to build an house unto my name, thou didst well that it was in thine heart.

It was in the heart of David my father to build an house for the name of the Lord God of Israel. And in verse 18, and the Lord said unto David, my father, whereas it was in thy heart to build a house unto my name, thou did well that it was in thy heart. David’s heart was panting that there must be a house erected in honor of God. And God acknowledged the heartbeat of a man. and God said concerning David that goes well that this desire, this dream was in your heart. That is why David called a man after God’s own heart.

1 Samuel 13:14 But now thy kingdom shall not continue: the LORD hath sought him a man after his own heart, and the LORD hath commanded him to be captain over his people, because thou hast not kept that which the LORD commanded thee.

He carried in his heart a dream to build a house unto the Lord. This was acknowledged by God, as I began to study, I saw an episode in

1 Chronicles 22: 1 – 11 Then David said, This is the house of the LORD God, and this is the altar of the burnt offering for Israel.

And David commanded to gather together the strangers that were in the land of Israel; and he set masons to hew wrought stones to build the house of God.

And David prepared iron in abundance for the nails for the doors of the gates, and for the joinings; and brass in abundance without weight;

Also cedar trees in abundance: for the Zidonians and they of Tyre brought much cedar wood to David.

And David said, Solomon my son is young and tender, and the house that is to be builded for the LORD must be exceeding magnifical, of fame and of glory throughout all countries: I will therefore now make preparation for it. So, David prepared abundantly before his death.

Then he called for Solomon his son, and charged him to build a house for the LORD God of Israel.

And David said to Solomon, my son, as for me, it was in my mind to build a house unto the name of the LORD my God:

But the word of the LORD came to me, saying, thou hast shed blood abundantly, and hast made great wars: thou shalt not build a house unto my name, because thou hast shed much blood upon the earth in my sight.

Behold, a son shall be born to thee, who shall be a man of rest; and I will give him rest from all his enemies round about: for his name shall be Solomon, and I will give peace and quietness unto Israel in his days.

He shall build a house for my name; and he shall be my son, and I will be his father; and I will establish the throne of his kingdom over Israel forever.

Now, my son, the LORD be with thee; and prosper thou, and build the house of the LORD thy God, as he hath said of thee.

We touch a few verses there. And David said, “This is the house of the Lord God. And this is the altar of the burnt offering of Israel, David commanded that they gather together all the strangers. He gathered the masons. And in verse three, David prepared iron in abundance for the nail for the doors of the gate and for the joining’s and brass in abundance. So, David began to gather all the materials needed for the building of the house. Why? His heart was panting after God. His heart was panting that a house must be built in honor of the name of God.

And in verse five, and David said, Solomon, my son, is young and tender, and the house that is to be built for the Lord must be exceedingly magnificent. Not an ordinary house. David knew that the best only qual only belongs to his God. The best. He said, “The house that is to be built for my God must be magnificent, of fame, and of glory throughout all countries, meaning, there must not be any house anywhere on the earth that should stand beside this house that should be built for my God.

That was the kind of heartbeat David had, and watch what he said. I would therefore now make preparation for it. I will make preparation abundantly before his death. David had desired to build a house, but the Lord had instructed that you have been a man of war all your life. You have shed so much blood before my sight. You shall not build a house for me. But your son Solomon, a man of peace, a man that I will give rest from his enemies. Verse nine of the same scripture, he said, a son shall be born to thee who shall be a man of rest. I will give him rest from all his enemies round about. His name shall be Solomon. I will give peace and quietness to Israel all his days. he shall build a house for my name and he shall be my son and I’ll give and I’ll be his father and I will establish the throne of his kingdom forever, but you see what David did? David prepared everything needed for the building of the house. Why? That was the heartbeat of David.

The question every one of us must answer is what kingdom dream rules your heart? What kingdom dream rules your heart? What contribution do you desire to make towards the advancement of the kingdom?

Unfortunately, today we live in a generation driven by personal dreams without recourse to any kingdom dream. You see an average young person today, all the person is thinking about is my dream job, my dream house, my dream car, my dream wife, my dream husband. I love the way the assistant resident pastor in his teaching this morning began to explain the kind of dream he had then before he became a man of God. He wanted a slim huh but God gave him blessing. Blessing. Blessing. I won’t use the word he used but blessing.

Many carry nice dreams. my husband must have six packs, must be tall, must be handsome, he must not carry pimple, Clean fresh boy, that’s all that rules their heart. the young man is thinking ah beautiful lady figure eight, not I, and it begins to qualify and paint pictures yet without the slightest clue on anything about the kingdom, you ask an average young person, “What value do you want to add to the kingdom?” No clue. How many souls do you want to add to the kingdom? No clue.

Please hear me this morning. all kingdom advancement dreamers are ordained high flyers in the journey of life; all kingdom advancement dreamers they are ordained as high flyers in the journey of life. When the young man testifying this morning, brother Cherry, I was listening very carefully to his testimony and I love his testimony, he said his house rent was due last year, August 30th and that was the burden on his heart. That was all that mattered when he came. But upon the mountain of AYAC, something shifted. All of a sudden, his heart began to pant after the kingdom without recourse, that is how tren was due in a few days. And because his heart shifted from self to God, God stepped into his affair. And if you see the way God began to work things out for him, two days to the expiration of his rent, the landlord now gave quick notice, which now gave him ample time to plan for the next place to move to. So, two days that maybe would have kicked him out, he now gave him quick notice that okay, take some months so he can look for somewhere else to go. And within the time frame as everything shifted to kingdom, as his heartbeat began to shift to the matters of the kingdom, everything began to change. Miracle jobs, miracle expansion, and God now gave him a beautiful house and God gave him a beautiful wife.

For anyone that is sensitive, you must have discovered that there’s something about marriage happening this season, do you did you catch did you catch that? Most of the testimonies have been revolved. Even the one that is serving as a copper, he married still, so that simply means prophetically if there’s anyone on the line for miracle marriage, congratulations. Did you hear me? Well, I said congratulations. One more time, I said to you congratulations. So come AYAC 2025 you’ll be standing here with your spouse. I can only hear the ladies shouting amen. Can I hear the men also shout amen?

You know it’s most of the brothers that have been testifying about marriage, something is changing. Oh, the men are no longer shy to get married. Glory to God.

Now, one with a heart for God cannot be lost in the crowd. anyone with a heart for God, genuine heart for God, cannot be lost in the crowd. you cannot have a heart for God and not make great marks on the earth. Great marks, distinguished marks.

1 Kings 3:3 And Solomon loved the LORD, walking in the statutes of David his father: only he sacrificed and burnt incense in high places

speaking of Solomon, the Bible says, and Solomon loved the Lord, that was the only qualifier Solomon had, if you check cultural scriptures, he was not a fighter, was not a warrior, the only qualifier that Solomon had in all of scripture was that Solomon loved the Lord, and he began to walk in the statues of his father, and another giant emerged. in fact, Solomon was so blessed that there was none in the class of Solomon all the days of his life, everywhere kingdom dreams, a man after God’s own heart, and in first kings chapter 4 from verse 29-31 the Bible says and God gave Solomon wisdom and understanding exceedingly much and of heart even as the sand that is on the seashore and Solomon’s wisdom a man who loved God began to manifest divine wisdom.

Solomon’s wisdom excelled the wisdom of all the children of the east country and all the wisdom of Egypt. For he was wiser than all men, distinguished. He was wiser than all men in a class all by his own. And his fame was in all nations round about, So God announced him globally. May I pray for one person here? Between now and 2026, God will announce you,, Well, if you believe that word, your amen is louder than your neighbors.

But what is your kingdom dream? Seeking God with the whole of one’s heart is all about thinking kingdom advancement priority thoughts, what is ruling your heart? what are the thoughts that occupy priority placement in your heart?

As we all know, whatever one desires when he believes, he will also receive. we see Mark 11:4, we saw how all Judah rejoiced at the oath to serve God, they made a choice to align their hearts with God, they made a choice to align with the agenda of the kingdom, and the Bible say God gave them rest. God gave them rest. God gave them rest, that’s the same way God will give somebody here rest.

But quickly, who is a kingdom dreamer? No assumption, who is a kingdom dreamer? Let’s take a few definitions. number one, a kingdom dreamer is one who is passionately committed to the advancement of the kingdom and the promotion of his agenda, one who is passionately committed to the advancement of the kingdom of God. What rules that one is kingdom. Kingdom. Kingdom. The priority of that man’s heart is the kingdom. passionately committed to the advancement of the kingdom and the promotion of his agenda.

John 4:34 Jesus saith unto them, my meat is to do the will of him that sent me, and to finish his work

Jesus said, my meat is to do the will of the father of him that sent me and to finish his work. That’s the priority for me. I’m committed to the agenda of the kingdom.

Who is a kingdom dreamer?

  • One who places God and the kingdom as ultimate priority in his life, one who places God and the kingdom as ultimate priority.

Matthew 6:33 But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you

We all know that scripture, but sometimes we quote the scripture without thinking through the scripture. The Bible says here, “But seek ye first,” in other words, other things may contend and contest for that place, but seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and then all these things shall be added to you, and what are the things that will be added? If you check the earlier verses, it’s the things that others struggle after. what to wear, what to eat, those are the things that we take thoughts of, what shall we eat? What shall we drink? Or where thou shall we be clothed? But it says in verse 32, he said, “But after all these things to the Gentiles seek.” but your heavenly father knows, he knows, he knows that you have need of all these things, so where you are seated, God knows what you need, where you are seated, God knows the matters of your heart, he knows, but he simply given a commandment in verse 33, he said, but seek ye first the kingdom of God and his righteousness and all the things that you need, you will not need to pray for them., you will not need to pursue them.

You will not need to beg for them. They will be added to you. There’s someone here as your heart begins to beat after the kingdom, everything that your peers are struggling to get, God will be adding them to you. Well, if you are saying amen, shout it like a true believer.

The things that others sweat to get, they sweat to get miracle jobs, they swear to get breakthrough in business and career. God is saying, “I’ll be adding them to you.” For somebody here, you’ll still be on the mountain of a 2025. but your heart panting after God and you’ll be getting the alert for your miracle job.

  • One who willfully sacrifices all for the matter of the kingdom, one who willfully sacrifices all for the matters of the kingdom, we talk about Solomon, a man who loved God, but this man was a dangerous giver. There was nothing too valuable in his hand that he could not let go for God. In the same

1kings 3:3&4 And Solomon loved the LORD, walking in the statutes of David his father: only he sacrificed and burnt incense in high places.

4And the king went to Gibeon to sacrifice there; for that was the great high place: a thousand burnt offerings did Solomon offer upon that altar.

Solomon loved the Lord but in verse four see what Solomon did and the king went to Gibon to sacrifice there for that was the great high place and what did he sacrifice a thousand burnt offering did Solomon offer upon that altar, prior to that time no one had ever given that volume one man carried a thousand burnt offering and tabled before God, and I could imagine God perceiving a very delicious smell and aroma from heaven. And he came down and said to Solomon, “Ask what I will do for thee.” Ask and Solomon did not stop there

2 Chronicles 7:5 And king Solomon offered a sacrifice of twenty and two thousand oxen, and an hundred and twenty thousand sheep: so the king and all the people dedicated the house of God.

When I saw this, King Solomon offered a sacrifice of 202,000 oxen. That is 22,000 oxen and 120,000 sheep, one man before the Lord. So, Solomon sacrificed beyond the limits and boundaries established by anyone and he touched what others could not touch.

You are a kingdom dreamer. How much are you willing to let go for God? What is that thing in your hand that is too big to let go for God? I’ve used an example per adventure for many many years. that you have been trekking and trekking and trekking and trekking that everyone around your neighborhood they know you. In fact, they know you by your shoes. Your shoe has been inclined to angle 90. You know those kinds of shoes? Those shoes that if they come in the next life and they hear your name, they will run away. Those shoes that already know the road that whether you are there or not, the shoe can move on its own. And then after many years, after many mockeries, God now blesses you with a car. And then you have that car and you begin to drive on the same path you have been trekking and trekking and trekking that many have mocked you. And then you are driving and the same people that are mocking you are standing on the road and you are greeting them like this. You know that kind of wave. And then all of a sudden as you are cruising in that car you hear a voice. Give me that car. All of a sudden you begin to remember scriptures. The voice of the stranger you will not hear. In the name of the Lord Jesus, I bind every satanic voice. It is written when he speaks, he only speaks peace. You begin to quote scripture the blessings of the Lord. It makes rich and has no sorrow. Satan, I bind you. And God says, when you finish binding me, give me that car for the advancement of my kingdom.

I am reminded of the year 2009 at the Shilo impartation service I sat somewhere at the honor entrance and I was all charged and excited and I said Lord I want to give you something that cost me, be careful the kind of prayer you pray sometimes and so I was pacing all charged I want to give you something I love you so much I want to advance the kingdom and I had with me that car I left where I was standing I shifted to the next place and I said, Lord, I want to give you something that cost me. And I heard again, give me that car, I said, I moved again. And I heard a third time, give me that car. Now, I just bought the first brand new car in my life that year, black Kia Serato, the plate number RW601 AAA, I sometime believe even in heaven I may remember that plate number and I heard give me that car, in fact that car was so dear to me that anyone that knew me at that time knew me with that car. You touch that car I will touch you, I left the nylon on the car, I bathed that car like bathing a child, and the Lord said, give me that car for the advancement of the kingdom. And after the service, I was so humbled. I went out, packed all my things, put in my backpack, drove the car to the church office, went into the reception, gave it to the I met a pastor there, gave him the key, gave him the document. he said, what is this? I said, I brought a seed for the Lord. and he said, what is? I said, It’s a car. He said, that’s your car? because anyone that knew me then knew me with that car? I said, Yes, and the pastor said, Hallelujah.

Oh, real life story, and I left that car and I went back to where I was staying. And when I got to where I was staying, walked into the house, the wife of my friend whose place I was staying that time asked, where is the car? and I said, Ownership has changed hands, so she began say, what? What do you mean by ownership? she said, but the husband understood, to cut the long story short, the next day the Lord asked me, how many cars do you want that year? now I was a bachelor then, still in the market then. and I said, Lord, let me be conservative, but I won’t mind three so I can use one in the morning. then well, the summary of that testimony is that before the next year, Shilo, there were three vehicles there.

Now, what is my message? No one serves God at a loss. You don’t promote the kingdom of God at a loss. You don’t carry kingdom dreams at a loss. Everyone committed to the advancement of the kingdom, God is committed to your own advancement. May I announce to somebody here before next year AYAC 2026 God would have changed your story permanently.

But many claim to love God, many claim to carry kingdom dreams. Yet they can’t let go anything for the promotion of the kingdom. Everything in their hand is like this arodite akagon, even to give offering in church is problem. Nothing. I said pastor yes, I have kingdom dreams but nothing can leave your hand. I remember the testimony of our father. He said he used to see churches being built for years, years upon years. The first committee will die and go and the church is not yet completed, and his heart was pained. And he began to say, “Lord, if you bless me, I want to build churches everywhere. That was a kingdom dream. And at the time, he said, Lord, bless me enough. I want to build a thousand churches. One man like Solomon that offered a thousand burnt offering. He said I want to build a thousand churches before my time is up. And little by little because God saw the genuineness of his heart. the first one was built, the second one was built, the third one was built, the 10th one was built, the 20th one was built at a goal 100 built one time. maybe you are sited there and saying when God blesses me like God’s servant, I’ll begin to build churches. Start from where you are. You can’t build a church you can buy a chair. Are you hearing what I’m saying? You can’t build a church you can buy five chairs. but start at your level. Every time God sees a kingdom desire in your heart, he will make the kingdom provision. Something is changing for somebody here. Well, if you are saying amen, say it like a true believer.

Who is a kingdom dreamer?

A kingdom dreamer is one that is committed to aligning with scriptural commands as it pertains to being a blessing to others.

Genesis 12:2 And I will make of thee a great nation, and I will bless thee, and make thy name great; and thou shalt be a blessing:

the Lord speaking to Abraham, he said, I will make of thee a great nation and I will bless thee and I will make thy name great and thou shalt be a blessing. You shall be a blessing to all the nations of the earth. The scripture says, charge them that are rich amongst them, charge them, give them that commandment that they be rich in good works, don’t just keep for yourself as that foolish rich man that kept gathering and accumulating and accumulating. Be committed to being a blessing to others. Many of us at the level where we are, we can send other children to school. At the levels that we are, we can build churches. Some of us at the level that we are, we can contribute to successful outreaches. But what is in your heart? What dreams rule your heart? What passion engulfs your heart? How committed are you to aligning with the scriptural commandments as it pertains to blessing others? Well, I know there are people here God will use you to help orphans. Many of you here, God will bless you to a point that you’ll be sending children to school that you don’t even know them. Well, if you believe that, say a louder amen.

Seeking first the interest of the kingdom begins with the heart. Seeking first the interest of the kingdom begins with the heart. The heart.

Psalm 27:8 When thou saidst, Seek ye my face; my heart said unto thee, Thy face, LORD, will I seek.

When thou say, seek my face, my heart saith unto thee, thy face, oh Lord, will I seek.

1kings 8:17, it was in the heart of David, my father, to build a house for the name of the Lord God of Israel. But you know the interesting thing, God knows what is in everyone’s heart. Man may not know, your neighbor may not know, your pastor may not know, your friend may not know, but God knows. God does not look like man looks. Man looks and judges with the outside. But God looks at the heart. Oh, I love you. God say it’s a lie. Your heart is far from me. Oh God, if you bless me, I will advance the kingdom. I will build churches. I will help the orphans. I’ll be a blessing to widows. God says to you, if I bless you, as you are living, you’re going to buy a car. You’re going to go for vacation. I know you. I’m not saying going for a vacation is wrong. I’m not saying buying a car is wrong, but what’s the priority in your heart?

1Samuel 16:7 But the LORD said unto Samuel, Look not on his countenance, or on the height of his stature; because I have refused him: for the LORD seeth not as man seeth; for man looketh on the outward appearance, but the LORD looketh on the heart.

And the Lord said unto Samuel, look not at his countenance, don’t judge by his countenance. Don’t be deceived by the height of his stature because I have refused him. For the Lord seeth not as man seeth. For man lookth on the outward appearance. That’s what man sees. But the Lord looked on the heart. God sees every man’s heart clear. HD clean clear.

Jeremiah 17:10 I the LORD search the heart, I try the reins, even to give every man according to his ways, and according to the fruit of his doings.

I the Lord I search the heart, so God is searching the heart of everyone seated here this morning. God is searching the heart of every youth gathered across the globe. What is the thing taking the priority place in your heart? What kind of dream is number one in your heart? Are they for your selfish interest? Are they for your personal gains? Or are they for the advancement of the kingdom?

But you know something also interesting? Everyone also knows what is in his own heart. The same way God knows what is in your heart. You also know what is in your heart. You know what is priority to you. You know what is number one in your order of preference.

1 Corinthians 2:11 For what man knoweth the things of a man, save the spirit of man which is in him? even so the things of God knoweth no man, but the Spirit of God

You know for what man knoweth the things of a man? Save the spirit of that man. Save the spirit of that man

2 Corinthians 13:5 Examine yourselves, whether ye be in the faith; prove your own selves. Know ye not your own selves, how that Jesus Christ is in you, except ye be reprobates?

That’s why it says to us, examine yourself. We all must examine ourselves. There are many of us before we leave the mountain of AYAC, we order your priorities. Let the matters of the kingdom take number one place. Let the advancement of the kingdom become your number one priority. and watch it. All the things that you have been struggling for many years, they’ll be added to you. You will not sweat over them anymore. I said you will not beg over them anymore.

And I close with this. One’s heartbeat for God is what guarantees his ultimate impact on the earth. One’s heartbeat for God. once had beat for God is what guarantees his ultimate impact on the earth. We see the man Job in

Job 1 &1 – 3 There was a man in the land of Uz, whose name was Job; and that man was perfect and upright, and one that feared God, and eschewed evil.

And there were born unto him seven sons and three daughters.

His substance also was seven thousand sheep, and three thousand camels, and five hundred yoke of oxen, and five hundred she asses, and a very great household; so that this man was the greatest of all the men of the east.

wonderful man of God. His name was Job, a perfect and an upright man, one that feared God and ensued evil. And so said to him, was born unto him seven sons and three daughters. His substance also 7,000 sheep, very blessed man, great household, greatest man in the east. But what was the secret of the greatness of Job?

Job 29:4 – 5 & 11 – 12 As I was in the days of my youth, when the secret of God was upon my tabernacle;

When the ear heard me, then it blessed me; and when the eye saw me, it gave witness to me:

Because I delivered the poor that cried, and the fatherless, and him that had none to help him.

As it was in the days of my youth. Thank God we are all in the days of our youth when the secret of the Lord was upon my tabernacle. Verse five, if you continue to read down is why the Almighty was yet with me. My children round about me jumped quickly. I washed my steps with butter and the rocks poured me out rivers of oil. Verse seven, quickly, I went out to the gates through the city. When I prepared my seat in the streets, we’re going to verse 12. The young men saw me, they hid themselves. The aged rose and they stood up. The princes refrained from talking and laid their hand on their mouth. The nobles had their peace. That’s the kind of honor that Job had. Verse 11. Quickly, when the ear heard me, it blessed me. When the eye saw me, it gave witness to me. And what was the secret?  because I delivered the poor that cried and the fatherless and him that had none to help him. So, the making of Job was tied to his heart for God and for humanity, for the kingdom dreams that ruled him.

I pray from this moment; may everyone’s heart begin to beat after God. May the agenda of the kingdom take first place in the heart of every youth here. If you have said amen, say it like a true believer. Now jump on your feet and shout a resounding amen.

You give God his first place, he gives you his first place. You make God first; he makes you first. You want kingdom boom, carry a kingdom dream. The best of God is reserved for lovers of God.

Building to Last Through Divine Direction – Pastor Adebayo Akomolafe – AYAC 2025 Day 1 Morning Session Word 2

Day 1: Morning Session (Word 2)

Speaker: Pastor Adebayo Akomolafe

Topic: Building to Last Through Divine Direction

The Necessity of Divine Direction

We are prepared in order to be built to last. Whatever is not built to last is sure to fail. If it is not built to endure, it is sure to crash. But on this mountain, God is equipping us with the light, empowering each and every one of us to build to last in the name of Jesus. None of us will crash.

We have come to receive the covenant fundamentals for built-to-last adventures. We have been receiving layers upon layers of these fundamentals. Just a while ago, we engaged the spirituality plus. In this session, we are looking at The Focus.

No one ever outgrows being led by the Spirit of God. The subject of divine direction is critical to build and to last. If we must build to last, then divine direction is a must.

I heard from God’s servant when he was speaking to us in the first session from

1 Peter 2:5 Ye also, as lively stones, are built up a spiritual house, an holy priesthood, to offer up spiritual sacrifices, acceptable to God by Jesus Christ

we are lively stones, built up a spiritual house. This reminds me of the construction industry. A building cannot stand without proper approval from the necessary authorities. Building without approval is in vain; the authorities will come after it and, in most cases, pull it down.

Permit me to say our spiritual houses also require divine approvals in order to be built to last. Any destiny being constructed without or contrary to divine approval every effort invested is in vain. It’s only a matter of time before such a destiny crashes. Efforts will be wasted; time will be lost. My prayer is that none of us will waste efforts in building our destiny in the name of Jesus Christ.

Therefore, walking in divine direction is walking in the approval of God. And whatever God approves is sure to stand the test of time.

Please take note, no one can ever do without divine direction, and no one can ever outgrow the leading of the Spirit of God.

Romans 8:14 For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God

That means until you are led, you are not a son. Divine guidance is a must for every child of God.

It means to be guided, to be directed, to be taught, to be shown the way. And we all need it in the journey of life.

Jeremiah 10:23 makes it very clear:

Jeremiah 10:23 O Lord, I know that the way of man is not in himself: it is not in man that walketh to direct his steps no one can direct their own steps.

In Psalm 23:1, the Bible says,

In Psalm 23:1 The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want

If the Lord is our shepherd, then according to

Psalm 100:3 Know ye that the LORD he is God: it is he that hath made us, and not we ourselves; we are his people, and the sheep of his pasture

we are the sheep of His pasture, a sheep without a shepherd is lost. The activity of the shepherd in our lives is to direct us so we don’t end up in the mouth of the wicked ones. That will not be anyone’s portion in the name of Jesus.

Just as no one can ever outgrow feeding, no one outgrows divine guidance. The day you stop eating, it’s only a matter of time before you waste away. That is the same way: you may be acting like you know what you’re doing, thinking you don’t need direction, but very soon you will know you don’t know what you’re doing. Anytime a believer begins to lead himself, he has lost out of his range. We won’t lose out of our range.

Proverbs 16:25: There is a way that seemeth right unto a man, but the end thereof are the ways of death You can’t lead yourself. Please take note.

The Example of Apostle Paul

We have the example of the Apostle Paul in

Acts 20:21-23 Testifying both to the Jews, and also to the Greeks, repentance toward God, and faith toward our Lord Jesus Christ.

And now, behold, I go bound in the spirit unto Jerusalem, not knowing the things that shall befall me there:

Save that the Holy Ghost witnesseth in every city, saying that bonds and afflictions abide me.

He was testifying, but then he said, “I go bound in the spirit to Jerusalem, not knowing the things that shall befall me there.” Verse 23 says the Holy Ghost witnessed in every city, saying that bonds and afflictions awaited him. It was not safe for him to go there. God had specifically called him to the Gentiles. He began to think he had accomplished so much and now needed to go to the Jews. When you begin to lead yourself, you will begin to lose out. You won’t lose out in the name of Jesus.

From the story of Apostle Paul, we see that there is no substitute for divine direction. There is no substitute whatsoever.

· The Anointing is not a substitute. Paul was anointed, but the anointing is not a substitute for direction

Acts 21:10-11 And as we tarried there many days, there came down from Judaea a certain prophet, named Agabus.

And when he was come unto us, he took Paul’s girdle, and bound his own hands and feet, and said, Thus saith the Holy Ghost, So shall the Jews at Jerusalem bind the man that owneth this girdle, and shall deliver him into the hands of the Gentiles.

· Revelation is not a substitute. Paul was a man of abundant revelation

2 Corinthians 12:7 And lest I should be exalted above measure through the abundance of the revelations, there was given to me a thorn in the flesh, the messenger of Satan to buffet me, lest I should be exalted above measure

but when revelation lacks direction, frustration and limitation are the result.

· A Divine Call is not a substitute. No one may doubt your calling

Acts 9:15 But the Lord said unto him, Go thy way: for he is a chosen vessel unto me, to bear my name before the Gentiles, and kings, and the children of Israel:

Acts 22:10 And I said, What shall I do, Lord? And the Lord said unto me, Arise, and go into Damascus; and there it shall be told thee of all things which are appointed for thee to do

but if you are not submitted to His guidance, you are bound to be limited and suffer frustration.

We shall not be limited in the name of Jesus.

We have the examples in our own commission. Many years ago, this commission went to a city that was assumed God was leading us to. We were in that city for six years. Nothing was finding expression. Heavily anointed, on mandate, but no expression. Our father asked God, “Why is nothing happening?” And God said, “Because I didn’t send you there.” Years later, when God opened the way to that same city, there was an explosion. Why? It was time. You were not there. Don’t miss your time in the name of Jesus. We will not miss our time.

The Greatest Asset

The voice of God is the greatest asset of the believer. Access to the voice of God is our greatest asset in the adventure of life.

Please note that God is only committed to lead us as much as we are committed to following Him. Therefore, we must subscribe to His leading if God must continue to lead us. Isaiah 48:17 says, I am the Lord thy God which teacheth thee to profit, which leadeth thee by the way that thou shouldest go.

Why We Need Divine Direction

Someone may ask, “Why do I need divine direction?”

  1. Because there is a way that seems right to a man. The fact that it seems right does not make it right

Proverbs 14:12 There is a way which seemeth right unto a man, but the end thereof are the ways of death.

Proverbs 16:25 There is a way that seemeth right unto a man, but the end thereof are the ways of death.

You may see everyone running in one direction, join them, and discover that while others are making it, you are struggling. Why? It is not the will of God for you. You are diligent, consistent, sacrificing, but nothing is happening. Check if that is the direction of God.

  • To avoid being a wandering star

Proverbs 29:18 Where there is no vision, the people perish: but he that keepeth the law, happy is he.

Without a vision (divine direction), the people perish. If you don’t know where you belong, you will wander around like a wanderer, and as you wander, you are heading for a crash. You are ordained to be a star, a pathfinder, a trailblazer in your specific territory. Don’t struggle where it is not your territory.

  • To avoid the struggle for survival

Psalm 23:1-6 The LORD is my shepherd; I shall not want.

He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: he leadeth me beside the still waters.

He restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name’s sake.

Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me.

Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over.

Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the LORD for ever

When God is leading, everything is calm. You don’t struggle for anything. Even in the valley of the shadow of death, there are no struggles. In the midst of enemies, He prepares a table for you. Surely, goodness and mercy shall follow you.

  • To secure our adventure in life

Isaiah 45:1-3 Thus saith the LORD to his anointed, to Cyrus, whose right hand I have holden, to subdue nations before him; and I will loose the loins of kings, to open before him the two leaved gates; and the gates shall not be shut;

I will go before thee, and make the crooked places straight: I will break in pieces the gates of brass, and cut in sunder the bars of iron:

And I will give thee the treasures of darkness, and hidden riches of secret places, that thou mayest know that I, the LORD, which call thee by thy name, am the God of Israel

The stability of our future and our destiny is a product of the purity of our leading today. This commission has grown from strength to strength for 44 years because every step has been backed by divine guidance, accurate direction from the Lord. You are next to be secured in Jesus’ name.

How to Access Divine Direction

How can I access divine direction?

  1. Through the Word

Psalm 119:105 Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path

The Word is a lamp unto our feet and a light unto our path. If you are a Word lover, you will never lack direction. Our father has testimonies of how most of his leading has been through the Word. Get loving the Word. Get living by the Word.

  • Through the Inner Witness

John 16:13 Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come.

Romans 8:16 The Spirit itself beareth witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God:

The Holy Spirit speaks to us in our inner man through promptings, nudgings, and spiritual perception

Acts 27:10 And said unto them, Sirs, I perceive that this voyage will be with hurt and much damage, not only of the lading and ship, but also of our lives.

  • Through Prayer of Inquiry

Jeremiah 33:3 Call unto me, and I will answer thee, and shew thee great and mighty things, which thou knowest not.

Call upon me and I will answer you and show you great and mighty things. Only those who ask questions receive answers

2 Samuel 5:19 And David enquired of the LORD, saying, Shall I go up to the Philistines? wilt thou deliver them into mine hand? And the LORD said unto David, Go up: for I will doubtless deliver the Philistines into thine hand

Never take a step without asking the One who knows the way.

  • Through His Voice

Acts 13:2 As they ministered to the Lord, and fasted, the Holy Ghost said, Separate me Barnabas and Saul for the work whereunto I have called them.

1 Kings 19:12 And after the earthquake a fire; but the LORD was not in the fire: and after the fire a still small voice

Watch out for the voice of the Lord. It is often a still, small voice

Acts 8:29 Then the Spirit said unto Philip, Go near, and join thyself to this chariot.

Acts 10:19

The Spirit speaks today. On this mountain, you will hear the voice of the Spirit.

  • Through Divine Encounters (Visions)

Job 33:14-18 For God speaketh once, yea twice, yet man perceiveth it not.

In a dream, in a vision of the night, when deep sleep falleth upon men, in slumberings upon the bed;

Then he openeth the ears of men, and sealeth their instruction,

That he may withdraw man from his purpose, and hide pride from man.

He keepeth back his soul from the pit, and his life from perishing by the sword.

God speaks to us through pictures He shows us, visions from heaven.

The Blessings of Divine Direction

What are the blessings of walking in divine direction?

  1. The Assurance of God’s Presence

Exodus 33:14-15 And he said, My presence shall go with thee, and I will give thee rest.

And he said unto him, If thy presence go not with me, carry us not up hence.

When God  is with  you, His presence goes with you. When God is there, nothing can be against you

Romans 8:31 What shall we then say to these things? If God be for us, who can be against us?

  • Supernatural Restoration

1 Samuel 30:8 And David enquired at the LORD, saying, Shall I pursue after this troop? shall I overtake them? And he answered him, Pursue: for thou shalt surely overtake them, and without fail recover all.

Have you lost anything? Let God guide you, and He will bring it back. You are never late when you allow Him to guide you

Deuteronomy 32:10-12 He found him in a desert land, and in the waste howling wilderness; he led him about, he instructed him, he kept him as the apple of his eye.

As an eagle stirreth up her nest, fluttereth over her young, spreadeth abroad her wings, taketh them, beareth them on her wings:

So the LORD alone did lead him, and there was no strange god with him.

  • Supernatural Supply

Psalm 23:1 The LORD is my shepherd; I shall not want.

Psalm 48:14 For this God is our God for ever and ever: he will be our guide even unto death.

When God sends, He provides. You shall not want. You will recover all.

  • A Stress-Free Life

Psalm 25:9 The meek will he guide in judgment: and the meek will he teach his way

Psalm 12-3 The LORD shall cut off all flattering lips, and the tongue that speaketh proud things:

Proverbs 3:16-17 Length of days is in her right hand; and in her left hand riches and honour.

Her ways are ways of pleasantness, and all her paths are peace.

His ways are ways of pleasantness and all His paths are peace. His commandments are not grievous

1 John 5:3 For this is the love of God, that we keep his commandments: and his commandments are not grievous.

  • The Removal of All Fears

Exodus 3:7-10 And the LORD said, I have surely seen the affliction of my people which are in Egypt, and have heard their cry by reason of their taskmasters; for I know their sorrows;

8And I am come down to deliver them out of the hand of the Egyptians, and to bring them up out of that land unto a good land and a large, unto a land flowing with milk and honey; unto the place of the Canaanites, and the Hittites, and the Amorites, and the Perizzites, and the Hivites, and the Jebusites.

9Now therefore, behold, the cry of the children of Israel is come unto me: and I have also seen the oppression wherewith the Egyptians oppress them.

10Come now therefore, and I will send thee unto Pharaoh, that thou mayest bring forth my people the children of Israel out of Egypt.

Exodus 4:21-23 And the LORD said unto Moses, When thou goest to return into Egypt, see that thou do all those wonders before Pharaoh, which I have put in thine hand: but I will harden his heart, that he shall not let the people go.

And thou shalt say unto Pharaoh, Thus saith the LORD, Israel is my son, even my firstborn:

And I say unto thee, Let my son go, that he may serve me: and if thou refuse to let him go, behold, I will slay thy son, even thy firstborn.

When God is leading, fears are gone.

Enemies will flee from you.

  • Supernatural Breakthroughs

Jonah 3:1-10 And the word of the LORD came unto Jonah the second time, saying,

Arise, go unto Nineveh, that great city, and preach unto it the preaching that I bid thee.

So Jonah arose, and went unto Nineveh, according to the word of the LORD. Now Nineveh was an exceeding great city of three days’ journey.

And Jonah began to enter into the city a day’s journey, and he cried, and said, Yet forty days, and Nineveh shall be overthrown.

So the people of Nineveh believed God, and proclaimed a fast, and put on sackcloth, from the greatest of them even to the least of them.

For word came unto the king of Nineveh, and he arose from his throne, and he laid his robe from him, and covered him with sackcloth, and sat in ashes.

And he caused it to be proclaimed and published through Nineveh by the decree of the king and his nobles, saying, Let neither man nor beast, herd nor flock, taste any thing: let them not feed, nor drink water:

But let man and beast be covered with sackcloth, and cry mightily unto God: yea, let them turn every one from his evil way, and from the violence that is in their hands.

Who can tell if God will turn and repent, and turn away from his fierce anger, that we perish not?

And God saw their works, that they turned from their evil way; and God repented of the evil, that he had said that he would do unto them; and he did it not.

Isaiah 45:1-3 Thus saith the LORD to his anointed, to Cyrus, whose right hand I have holden, to subdue nations before him; and I will loose the loins of kings, to open before him the two leaved gates; and the gates shall not be shut;

I will go before thee, and make the crooked places straight: I will break in pieces the gates of brass, and cut in sunder the bars of iron:

And I will give thee the treasures of darkness, and hidden riches of secret places, that thou mayest know that I, the LORD, which call thee by thy name, am the God of Israel.

He will lead you and open the crooked places.

He triggers supernatural feats.

  • Assured Victory

Joshua 6:1-20 Now Jericho was straitly shut up because of the children of Israel: none went out, and none came in.

And the LORD said unto Joshua, See, I have given into thine hand Jericho, and the king thereof, and the mighty men of valour.

And ye shall compass the city, all ye men of war, and go round about the city once. Thus shalt thou do six days.

And seven priests shall bear before the ark seven trumpets of rams’ horns: and the seventh day ye shall compass the city seven times, and the priests shall blow with the trumpets.

And it shall come to pass, that when they make a long blast with the ram’s horn, and when ye hear the sound of the trumpet, all the people shall shout with a great shout; and the wall of the city shall fall down flat, and the people shall ascend up every man straight before him.

And Joshua the son of Nun called the priests, and said unto them, Take up the ark of the covenant, and let seven priests bear seven trumpets of rams’ horns before the ark of the LORD.

And he said unto the people, Pass on, and compass the city, and let him that is armed pass on before the ark of the LORD.

And it came to pass, when Joshua had spoken unto the people, that the seven priests bearing the seven trumpets of rams’ horns passed on before the LORD, and blew with the trumpets: and the ark of the covenant of the LORD followed them.

And the armed men went before the priests that blew with the trumpets, and the rereward came after the ark, the priests going on, and blowing with the trumpets.

And Joshua had commanded the people, saying, Ye shall not shout, nor make any noise with your voice, neither shall any word proceed out of your mouth, until the day I bid you shout; then shall ye shout.

So the ark of the LORD compassed the city, going about it once: and they came into the camp, and lodged in the camp.

And Joshua rose early in the morning, and the priests took up the ark of the LORD.

And seven priests bearing seven trumpets of rams’ horns before the ark of the LORD went on continually, and blew with the trumpets: and the armed men went before them; but the rereward came after the ark of the LORD, the priests going on, and blowing with the trumpets.

And the second day they compassed the city once, and returned into the camp: so they did six days.

And it came to pass on the seventh day, that they rose early about the dawning of the day, and compassed the city after the same manner seven times: only on that day they compassed the city seven times.

And it came to pass at the seventh time, when the priests blew with the trumpets, Joshua said unto the people, Shout; for the LORD hath given you the city.

And the city shall be accursed, even it, and all that are therein, to the LORD: only Rahab the harlot shall live, she and all that are with her in the house, because she hid the messengers that we sent.

And ye, in any wise keep yourselves from the accursed thing, lest ye make yourselves accursed, when ye take of the accursed thing, and make the camp of Israel a curse, and trouble it.

But all the silver, and gold, and vessels of brass and iron, are consecrated unto the LORD: they shall come into the treasury of the LORD.

So the people shouted when the priests blew with the trumpets: and it came to pass, when the people heard the sound of the trumpet, and the people shouted with a great shout, that the wall fell down flat, so that the people went up into the city, every man straight before him, and they took the city.

You can’t be led by God and be defeated in the battles of life.

  • Divine Refreshment

Psalm 23:2-3 He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: he leadeth me beside the still waters.

He restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name’s sake.

He leads me beside the still waters. He restores my soul. You will enjoy the refreshing of the Lord.

As we subscribe to His leading, none of us will crash in the name of Jesus Christ.

Pastor David Oyedepo Jnr Morning session Day 1 AYAC

Getting the Spirituality Pulse in the Adventure of Life- Pastor David Oyedepo Jnr – Day 1 Morning Session Word 1

Day 1: Morning Session

Speaker: Pastor David Oyedepo Jnr.

Topic: Getting the Spirituality Pulse in the Adventure of Life

We are praying, Lord Jesus, this morning, our eyes are upon you, we thank you for the blessing and privilege of bringing us into your presence, thank you for how you started with us powerfully last night, thank you for the encounter we had with your word.

This morning, our eyes are upon you, asking that you will speak again to us by your word, let our lives be transformed, but we thank you because we know you have done it already, in Jesus’ precious name, we have prayed, and somebody who believes God, say a loud “Amen!” Give a big hand of praise to God. And please take your seat in God’s presence.

AYAC 2025, I am built to last, I want to appreciate God and my father for the privilege to stand upon this altar here at AYAC 2025, and I believe God, by his word today, every one of our lives shall be changed and transformed in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ, we covered so much ground yesterday, I believe somebody was blessed last night, God visited us with his word in an unusual fashion and laid out the fundamentals for us so that every one of us shall begin to triumph in life in the name of Jesus Christ.

This morning, I’m going to be speaking to us on the subject: “Getting the Spirituality Pulse in the Adventure of Life.”

Getting the Spirituality Pulse in the Adventure of Life, we have quite some ground to cover this morning, so I trust that the Holy Ghost will give us understanding as we consider the word today.

We need to know that the life of the believer is like a spiritual building, 1 Peter 2:5, says that we are as living stones, built up into a spiritual house, the foundation of any house is vital to its sustainability, in fact, where the foundation is destroyed, the building is compromised.

Psalm 11:3 says, If the foundations are destroyed, what can the righteous do? This is why it’s so important for us to understand the necessity of having right foundations in the development of our lives and our destinies.

Spiritually, foundations are made through teachings, in the Book of 1 Corinthians 3:10, the word of God tells us that Paul, as a wise master builder, has laid a foundation, how is that foundation is laid? The foundation was made through the teaching of the word of God, Acts 20:32 says, I commend you to God and to the word of his grace, which is able to build you up and give you an inheritance among those who are sanctified, so the word of God being taught to us is the means of spiritual foundations for the building of our lives.

My prayer today is that for every one of us, our lives shall never be shaken again, you see, when the foundation is intact, the future is secure, but when the foundation is faulty, there is a foundational problem, we must get the fundamentals, the foundational stones, in place in order to build up the glorious destiny that God has installed for us.

It’s important to also note that there are two worlds, there is the spiritual world, and there’s the physical world. 2 Corinthians 4:18 says, While we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen: for the things which are seen are temporal; but the things which are not seen are eternal. So, there is the spiritual world, and there is the physical world, the physical world is the one that we can see with our eyes, but the spiritual world is the one that cannot be seen with the eyes.

However, it is important to note that the spiritual is always in control of the physical, in other words, what you see physically is a product of what is happening spiritually, you can put it this way, the spiritual is the control valve of the physical, you can further say that the spiritual is the remote control of the physical, whatever you see happening physically is the product of something that is taking place spiritually.

This means until you are in charge of the spiritual, you will lose charge of the physical, this is why spirituality becomes a non-negotiable factor in the life of any believer that will make much out of life and destiny., the beauty, the call, the glory of our lives, is a product of the spiritual dimension, this is so important, the spiritual is the control.

In Hebrews 11:3, the Bible tells us, “Through faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that things which are seen were not made of things which do appear. So, the raw material for the physical is the spiritual. The control for the physical is the spiritual. The trigger for the physical is the spiritual. The determinant of the physical is the spiritual. So, what becomes of us physically is a product of what is happening with us spiritually. Until you are in charge of the spiritual, you will lose charge of the physical.

So, there is a demand for us to, therefore, go into understanding the realm of the spiritual so that we can take charge of the physical, In fact, the Bible tells us in the Book of Romans 8:6, To be spiritually minded is life and peace, but to be carnally minded is death, when the Bible talks about those who are carnally minded, it’s talking about those who are naturally minded, their minds are on the things of the flesh, on the physical alone, but those who are spiritual, the Bible tells us that such individuals are the ones who enjoy life and peace.

Today, I see grace coming upon us to reactivate our spirit man to life, if you believe it, say a loud “Amen!” That’s why the Bible admonishes us in the Book of Colossians 3:1-4 (If ye then be risen with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ sitteth on the right hand of God.

Set your affection on things above, not on things on the earth.

For ye are dead, and your life is hid with Christ in God.

When Christ, who is our life, shall appear, then shall ye also appear with him in glory)

that we have to set our affection on the things that are above. We must keep our eyes focused on the spiritual so that we don’t become victims in the journey of life.

My prayer today again is that for each one of us, grace to begin to walk as spiritual men and women be granted upon us in the name of Jesus Christ.

But it’s also important to note that even though we said there are two worlds, the physical and the spiritual, we must also note that within the spiritual world, there are two kingdoms: the kingdom of darkness, that’s where Satan reigns, and the kingdom of light.

The Bible makes us understand in Colossians 1:13, He has delivered us from the power of darkness, and has translated us into the kingdom of his dear Son, so there is the kingdom of darkness. This is the place where Satan reigns. And what is the assignment of Satan?

John 10:10 says, the thief comes not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy, that’s why you discover that the kingdom of darkness is characterized by weeping and gnashing of teeth. Weeping and gnashing of teeth.

Have we ever considered the fact that when a person is born on the earth, how do you know that that child is actually in order? When he is born on the earth, what does he do first? The first signal of physical life is tears, that is when the child is born, he cries, it is when he cries that the mother smiles, when he has not cried, the mother is agitated, so it means that the first thing that a child understands when he comes on the earth physically is tears. Why? because natural life is loaded with tears, loaded with agony, because that is the ministry of the devil.

When the person is physically born, he is not yet born into the kingdom, therefore, he remains a victim of the oppressions of the enemy, so tears, gnashing of teeth, that is the characteristic of the kingdom of darkness, you find frustration, failure, defeat, stagnation, oppression, these are the things that surround those that are within the kingdom of darkness, but then there is a second kingdom, and that’s the kingdom of light, it is the kingdom where Christ reigns, he said, “He has translated us from the kingdom of darkness to the kingdom of his dear Son.”

What is the characteristic of the kingdom of his dear Son?

It is a kingdom of light. Acts 26:18 says, To turn them from darkness to light, and from the power of Satan unto God, that they may receive forgiveness of sins, and inheritance among them which are sanctified by faith that is in me, so, there’s the kingdom of light, that’s the kingdom where Christ reigns, now, you find that that kingdom is a kingdom where you enjoy joy, peace, truth, genuine glory, all kinds of blessings that come our way.

I say the blessings of the kingdom of light be made manifest in each one of our lives in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ.

Now, our entering into the kingdom of light is not just by physical immigration, there are certain ways you can become a citizen of a place, you can go through a process they call naturalization; that is, you go there, you live there for a while, then eventually… but in this kingdom, you don’t go somewhere and stay there for a while and then you become a citizen, that’s why a person can be in church for life and never be born again, it is not being in church that makes you saved. No. What makes a person a citizen of the kingdom of light is this: you must be born by the King to be a citizen of the kingdom, that’s why the Bible says that whatsoever is born of the Spirit is spirit, so until you are born of the Spirit, until you are born of the Spirit of God, you cannot become a citizen of the kingdom.

So, entering and shipping into this kingdom is a product of our new birth, and you see, birth does not occur until the seed of the one from which you come is in you, and this word is so important for us to understand, that when the person becomes born again, the Bible says that the seed of God is in him.

1 John 3:9 Whosoever is born of God doth not commit sin; for his seed remaineth in him: and he cannot sin, because he is born of God

The seed of God is in him.

But because that seed is spiritual, there are certain factors that are required to nurture that seed in order to see it grow and blossom, yesterday, we were told about the fruits of genuine salvation, that when a person becomes born again, there are certain fruits that are supposed to come out of his life.

Galatians 5:22-23 – But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith,

Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law.

the fruits of the Spirit: love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness, temperance, he says all of these things are supposed to come out of the life of one that is born again.

But fruits are the product of seeds, so it is until the seed is cultivated that the fruit cannot begin to show forth, so, what now, therefore, are the spiritual keys to nurturing the seed of God that is in you by salvation? If you’re born again, God’s seed is in you, but that seed must be nurtured, must be cultivated, must be developed in order for the fruits to begin to show.

You know, many times when children are born, you see the father and the mother both of them will be arguing about who the child resembles, because at that point, the child has not yet taken up anybody’s identity, “look at his nose, he looks like me,” the father will say. “Look at his ears, he looks like me,” the mother will say. “Look at his eyes, he’s the same color as my own,” it will still be an argument until the child begins to grow, it is in the process of growth that even strangers will see the child and say, “this one is the carbon copy of his father,” argument will stop when development starts.

As soon as development starts, argument stops, you don’t see two parents of an adult child arguing about who the child resembles. Why? Development has commenced, so identity has been established.

Begin to grow and nurture the seed of God in us; our identity is established, that’s when even satan can look at us and say, “that is a child of God.” this will be somebody’s experience from now on, if you believe it, say a loud “Amen!” I said that will be somebody’s experience from today. If you believe it, say a louder “Amen!”

So, how do we nurture the seed of God in us? This is the cause of what we’re going to be looking at this morning, and I believe the Holy Ghost will give us understanding.

It is by the Word of God, nurturing the seed of God in us begins with our access to God’s word, 1 Peter 2:2 The Bible tells us, as newborn babes, desire the sincere milk of the word, that ye may grow thereby, without nutrition, there’ll be deformation instead of transformation. If you are going to grow and develop, then there is a need for spiritual nutrition.

That’s why the Bible says in Romans 12:2, Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so, as God’s word penetrates our hearts, our lives begin to take shape in the formation of God, that’s why those who actually feed on the word are the ones who manifest the nature of God.

2 Peter 1:4 The Bible tells us there, it says that we have been given exceeding great and precious promises, that by these promises we might be partakers of the divine nature.            , as you continue to keep taking in God’s word, we begin to nurture the seed of God in us.

That is why those who continue to feed on the word end up looking like their God, those who get feeding on the word, they are the ones who end up looking like their God, the Bible tells us in the Book of Jeremiah 15:16 T Thy words were found, and I did eat them; and thy word was unto me the joy and rejoicing of mine heart: for I am called by thy name, O LORD God of hosts, so, the word is for eating, he said, as a result of that, they became the joy and the rejoicing of my heart.

When a man, a woman, a boy or girl begins to consume God’s word, that individual begins to look more like God. Romans 8:19 says that the earnest expectation of the creation waiteth for the manifestation of the sons of God, so the creation is waiting to identify those who look like God.

Hear this, Christianity is not in your sticker, Christianity is not in your service, Christianity is in the world identifying you as one who belongs to God, no matter how big your Bible is, what matters ultimately is that people can look at you and see God in you, the Bible says that we are not supposed to be living epistles, that is, we are to be the Bible that the world reads, if the world looks at us, they should be able to see what God looks like.

That’s going to be somebody’s experience from now on, for this is a deepening of our spiritual understanding. 1 Corinthians 13:11 says, When I was a child, I spake as a child, I understood as a child, I thought as a child: but when I became a man, I put away childish things, so childishness is known by understanding, that is why maturity is not a product of size, it is a product of depth, it’s not the product of size; it’s a product of depth. The deeper our understanding, the greater our spiritual maturity, when I was a child, I understood as a child, but when I became a man, I put away childish things, my understanding was upgraded, and it was manifested by my lifestyle, so there is a depth of understanding that is required for anyone to be able to attain spiritual maturity.

How do you and I engage to access depth in God’s word? How do we access depth in God’s word?

  1. By reading, by reading the word of God, Revelation 1:3 The Bible says, blessed is he that readeth the words of this prophecy, read the word of God and books that actually interpret God’s word, this is why one of the spiritual requirements is that God’s word be before our eyes, Keep it before your eyes every day. Read the word, let it be one of the fundamentals of your lifestyle, make it something that can be counted on a daily basis, read the word on a daily basis. Let not a day pass without you putting your eyes on God’s word.

In the Book of Proverbs 4:21, the Bible tells us, Let them not depart from thine eyes; keep them in the midst of thine heart, why must it be before your eyes? because it is the pathway to inscribe it to your heart, if the word is to be written on the tablets of your heart, it must be kept before your eyes, keep it before your eyes, read the word of God on a daily basis, make a habit out of it.

  • Hearing the word, make it your priority to keep hearing God’s word, Romans 10:17 Faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God, Jesus told his disciples in Matthew 13:16 Blessed are your eyes, for they see: and your ears, for they hear, keep hearing the word of God continuously flowing in your ears, you have the privilege of being in services to hear the word, you have the privilege of having messages, keep hearing the word.

Please hear this, we live in a world that is competing for our ears, competing for our ears, so many things are struggling to gain access to our ears, and the focus of this is to corrupt our hearts, you must continue to guard your ears and guide your eyes in order to preserve your heart, it’s so important for us to understand this.

The Bible makes us understand very clearly in the book of Matthew 13:15, we are told that, look at this closely, he said, For this people’s heart is waxed gross, and their ears are dull of hearing, and their eyes they have closed; lest at any time they should see with their eyes, and hear with their ears, and should understand with their heart, so, whatever it is that can distract your eyes and distract your ears has closed your heart.

That’s why you look at it very closely, you will discover that the world is after your eyes and your ears, it’s after your eyes and your ears, that’s what keeps a believer scrolling on Instagram, on TikTok. Why? Something is competing for his eyes, it causes a believer with earpiece inside the service, listening to music instead of hearing the word. Why? The world is competing for your ears, because if it can cut your ears and cut your eyes, it will close your heart.

That’s the world we live in today, competition for our ears, competition for our eyes, that’s why you discover that content is continuously available, if you want to sit down and watch and hear things from now to next year, there is enough content, there’s enough content to fill up time, to close your eyes, to close your heart.

For somebody hearing me today, your eyes are rescued, your ears are rescued in the name of Jesus Christ, if you believe it, say a loud “Amen!”

So that means you and I must make sure on a daily basis, on a continual basis, on a permanent basis, keep the word of God in front of your eyes, keep the word of God entering into your ears. It is a constant responsibility so that our hearts are not closed.

You discovered that the more you open your ears and your eyes to the world, the more your ears and your eyes close to the word, that’s why if you see yourself continually being consumed by some of these things, you discover that it is difficult for you to read the word, somebody can scroll for one hour, two hours on Instagram, will open one chapter and begin to close his eyes to sleep. Why? The heart has been closed, when the world is exciting to you, the word will be boring to you.

Is someone getting this? so let’s get ourselves in order, let’s get ourselves in order.

Some people say, I’m reading the Bible, I don’t understand what I’m reading., question: What have you been looking at and what have you been listening to? Because remember, when the ears become dull and the eyes become closed, then the heart will become gross; it will be blocked so that it cannot understand.

Again, I pray for somebody here under the sound of my voice today that the eyes of your understanding will be enlightened, I pray for somebody hearing me today that your spiritual ears will be open, if you believe it, say a loud “Amen!”

So, to get God’s word and deepen your understanding, you must read the word, you must hear the word.

  • You must study the word, you must study the word, 2 Timothy 2:15 Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.

What is Studying?

Studying is a search for depth, it is a search for depth, it is making a search for depth. The Bible says in Proverbs 25:2, It is the glory of God to conceal a thing: but the honour of kings is to search out a matter, those who are saints are as kings are the ones who descend to study. When you settle down to search for depth in God’s word, you will rise up as kings in this world.

This is why it’s so important for us to understand the necessity of study, settle down, study. Study the word, take subjects in God’s word and press on to the point of understanding, it is through the process of study that the word of God is able to dwell richly inside of us

Colossians 3:16 Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom; teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord

This is why you’ll find that every time we come to God’s word on a particular subject where we are seeking deeper light, we press on to the point of spiritual illumination, you see, revelation is not just a comprehension of God’s word, but an illumination of man’s spirit, your spirit becomes lighted when suddenly you can see, when suddenly the things in the word become practical and real to you, that is the point of spiritual understanding, that’s the place of depth, and you press into it through the process of study. Shout hallelujah!

Read the word, hear the word, study the word.

  • You meditate on the word, meditate on the word, Joshua 1:8 This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night.

Psalm 1:2 But his delight is in the law of the LORD; and in his law doth he meditate day and night, meditation is giving your heart to pondering, It is a focused thinking on God’s word, it is focused; that is, removing every distraction, keeping your mind fixed on God’s word, pondering it and its consequence to you, pondering on its consequence to you.

The Bible says in the book of Hebrews 2:1, that we ought to give the more earnest heed to the things which we have heard, we have to give it attention, focus on it, center on it, calm down with it, meditation is one of the lost arts today in many believers’ lives, it’s not enough to read, it’s not enough to hear, it’s not enough to study; it is vital to meditate, ponder on the word of God and its consequence to you as an individual.

Now, this is what God’s word says, what does it mean to me as a person? How do I appropriate its content in my life? It is meditation, thinking through the word with the focus on application. How does it apply to me, and how do I apply it? It is thinking on the word with a focus on application.

  •  Practicing, obeying the word of God, Jesus mother said to those servants in John 2:5, Whatsoever he saith unto you, do it,  So if you want to nurture the seed of God in you, number one key we said is by the word of God, and these are the things you do to get a deep understanding of God’s word.

How we nurture the seed of God in you is by prayer. Say it louder, by prayer.

Matthew 26:41 Watch and pray, that ye enter not into temptation: the spirit indeed is willing, but the flesh is weak

The Bible tells us there concerning Peter, Jesus said to the disciples watch and pray, that ye enter not into temptation the spirit indeed is willing, but the flesh is weak, so, there must be something that is done to enable the spirit dominate the flesh, there’s something that is done.

Paul said that the spirit lusts against the flesh and the flesh against the spirit

Galatians 5:16 – 17

This I say then, Walk in the Spirit, and ye shall not fulfil the lust of the flesh.

For the flesh lusteth against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh: and these are contrary the one to the other: so that ye cannot do the things that ye would.

He said, This I say then, Walk in the Spirit, and ye shall not fulfil the lust of the flesh. Look at verse 17, For the flesh lusteth against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh: and these are contrary the one to the other. So, to enable the spirit to have dominion over the flesh, you exercise it in prayer. You exercise it in prayer.

So, you can put it this way, If the word of God is nutrition, prayer is exercise, strength is a product of both nutrition and exercise, is that right? If all you do is eat and do not exercise, you’ll be big but not strong. If you eat very well, morning, afternoon, night, even midnight, you eat all of them, you will be big, you will have size, but you will not have strength.

In the same vein, if you only take in the word and you don’t pray, you will not be strong, our spirit man’s strength is a product of good nutrition and exercise, that means we must pray effectively, we must pray consistently, we must pray continuously.

Look at it this way, we must always be praying and not fainting.

1 Thessalonians 5:17 Pray without ceasing

1 Timothy 2:8 I will therefore that men pray everywhere, lifting up holy hands.

Pray without season

Intimacy with God, our intimate connectivity with God, is cultivated on the altar of prayer. It is in prayer that our relationship with God is turned into interaction, one of the divine names, the Bible says that we are called into the fellowship of his Son, prayer is the platform for personal fellowship with God.

Now, the question is, what are the components of effective prayer? As you look at

Matthew 6:9-13 After this manner therefore pray ye: Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name.

Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven.

Give us this day our daily bread.

And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors.

And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil: For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, forever, Amen.

you will see what effective prayer contains.

  • Effective prayer actually commences on the platform of worship for God’s presence,

it is worship, thanksgiving, and praise for entry.  if you look at that, they are patterns. Jesus, you see that clearly. he said, after this manner therefore pray ye, so, prayer is your voice of worship, that is, God is proposed in our heart, on prayer, that matters to God must matter to us, so when you go to pray, ask yourself, what matters to God? Let that matter to us, we can pray for them, I got engaged on their behalf, we can call on God for them.

  • Petition, unto him, what do you desire? Please share, listen to help us.
  • Demonstration of humility, is it demonstration of spiritual humility?

whatever you have refused to pray about, you are simply telling God you don’t need him for it. You’re telling God you don’t need him for it.

2 Chronicles 7:14 If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.

the Bible tells us in verse 14, If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, so, prayer is a demonstration of humility. It is admitting that we don’t know how to do it by ourselves. That’s what prayer is all about, so we pray our personal desires.

  • This one where many Christians miss it is repentance.

Prayer is a place of continuous where we go before God to repent of every error that we may have made. Jesus told us very clearly in that same scripture, Matthew 6:12, And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors. Forgive us, the Bible says if we say that we have not sinned, we make him a liar

1 John 1:10 If we say that we have not sinned, we make him a liar, and his word is not in us.

Every error in your life requires repentance. There’s no big or small matter. Every matter is a matter before God, is somebody getting it? It must be dealt with, that hidden pride, take care of it in prayer, ask God for mercy, the altar of prayer is described as the throne of grace where we obtain mercy, so demand mercy from God.

A component of effective prayer is sanctification. Sanctification is to lead us not into temptation. Hear this, satan is on the lookout for you on a daily basis, his whole team is for you, so, we use the altar of prayer to tackle every assault of the enemy ahead of time. Lord today, help me to avoid every trap of the wicked that is set to drag me out of your presence. Sanctification.

So, if you and I are going to be effective in nurturing the seed of God, we do that by God’s word, we do that by prayer, and we have seen what it takes for our prayer to be effective.

Now, the third way we nurture the seed of God in us is by right company. Tell me, right company.

Proverbs 13:20 He that walketh with wise men shall be wise: but a companion of fools shall be destroyed

1 Corinthians 15:33: Evil communications corrupt good manners.

Please hear this, your friends, they tell your future, hello? Your friends determine your future. Those who you walk with, they tell where you walk to, your destination is determined by your association, check those around you; you can tell where you are going. It’s so important. If your association is wrong, the future cannot be right. If those around you are not growing, you also will stop growing, you also will stop growing, check your association.

Who is in your prison? You can move from one level of glory to another. My prayer for somebody here today is that your life will become the light to your world.

AYAC 2025 Opening Night – Covenant Fundamentals Towards a Built-to-Last Adventure – Bishop David Oyedepo

August 19th, 2025

AYAC 2025 Opening Night Speaker: Bishop David O. Oyedepo

Topic: Covenant Fundamentals Towards a Built-to-Last Adventure

Praise the Lord.

When you turn on the light in your room, you don’t hear a noise, but the light goes on, the light breaks forth just by turning the switch. I’d like you to be very still in your spirit because His voice comes through a still, small voice, most of the encounters I’ve had in my life with the word came softly, quietly, but I was privileged to catch it.

Things have started happening already tonight, may the things reserved for you in this segment come true.

  • You will not crash in your journey.
  • You will not know ups and downs in your adventure.
  • The encounter at AYAC 2025 will stabilize your destiny, beautify your future, and secure your eternity in the name of Jesus.

(Opening Prayer and Introduction)

No building has a future without a foundation, not just a foundation, but a right foundation. A strong foundation is required to withstand the storms in your adventure, when we anchor our building to the Rock of Ages, we keep smiling at the storms, that will be your experience, but if the foundation is faulty, the righteous can do nothing, we are God’s building, no destiny here will crash.

(Prayer) Lord, I desire to return from AYAC 2025 with a strong foundation that will secure and beautify my future and secure my eternity, help me, Jesus.

Whatever thing you ask in prayer believing, you shall have it. You are returning with a sure foundation that will keep you in command of the affairs of life all through your many years ahead. It shall be so to your good old age, and you will make heaven in grand style with your crowns on your head in the name of Jesus.

(Our Glorious Destiny in Redemption)

Tonight we are looking at Covenant Fundamentals Towards a Built-to-Last Adventure.

The scripture says that those who know their God and keep faith with His covenant shall be strong and do exploits

Daniel 11:32 – And such as do wickedly against the covenant shall he corrupt by flatteries: but the people that do know their God shall be strong, and do exploits.

Those who despise it will end up as mockeries.

I discovered from Revelation 21:14 – And the wall of the city had twelve foundations, and in them the names of the twelve apostles of the Lamb that the walls of the city of heaven are built on 12 foundations, tonight, we are examining four covenant fundamentals that will secure your building till the end of time.

First, recognize the glorious destiny we have in redemption:

  • A Glorious Destiny: You are not redeemed for shame and reproach

Romans 8:29-30 – For whom he did foreknow, he also did predestinate to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brethren.

Moreover whom he did predestinate, them he also called: and whom he called, them he also justified: and whom he justified, them he also glorified.

  • A Triumphant Destiny: You are redeemed to be an overcomer, not to be overcome

2 Corinthians 2:14 – Now thanks be unto God, which always causeth us to triumph in Christ, and maketh manifest the savour of his knowledge by us in every place.

  • An Enviable Destiny: Like Isaac, you are a child of promise, destined to be envied, not pitied

Genesis 26:12-14 – Then Isaac sowed in that land, and received in the same year an hundredfold: and the LORD blessed him.

And the man waxed great, and went forward, and grew until he became very great:

For he had possession of flocks, and possession of herds, and great store of servants: and the Philistines envied him.

Galatians 4:28 Now we, brethren, as Isaac was, are the children of promise.

Whatever smells of pity around you will drop off on this mountain.

  • A Pace-Setting Destiny: You are the light of the world, called to set the pace for others to follow

Isaiah 60:1-3 – Arise, shine; for thy light is come, and the glory of the LORD is risen upon thee.

For, behold, the darkness shall cover the earth, and gross darkness the people: but the LORD shall arise upon thee, and his glory shall be seen upon thee.

And the Gentiles shall come to thy light, and kings to the brightness of thy rising.

Massive transformation is your portion.

  • A Global Destiny: As Abraham’s seed, you are redeemed to be a king and a nation, ruling in your various fields of endeavor

Genesis 17:4-5 & 15 – As for me, behold, my covenant is with thee, and thou shalt be a father of many nations.

Neither shall thy name any more be called Abram, but thy name shall be Abraham; for a father of many nations have I made thee.

And God said unto Abraham, As for Sarai thy wife, thou shalt not call her name Sarai, but Sarah shall her name be.

Galatians 3:29 – And if ye be Christ’s, then are ye Abraham’s seed, and heirs according to the promise.

  • A Lasting Destiny: Everyone dedicated to doing the will of God abides forever

1 John 2:17 – And the world passeth away, and the lust thereof: but he that doeth the will of God abideth for ever.

Institutions and nations don’t die; only people do. God is making your life to be an everlasting impact.

This commission is filled with world-shakers, a people of attraction, honor, and depth.

You have a global DNA, but a quest towards a built-to-last life begins with building yourself up spiritually on the sure foundation, which is Jesus Christ

1 Corinthians 3:11 – If any man defile the temple of God, him shall God destroy; for the temple of God is holy, which temple ye are.

Living by the dictates of scripture is building on the rock; no storm can bring you down Matthew 7:24-25 – Therefore whosoever heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them, I will liken him unto a wise man, which built his house upon a rock:

And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell not: for it was founded upon a rock.

The Four Fundamental Pillars

We will examine four fundamental pillars: Salvation, Revelation, Faith, and Sanctification.

  • The Salvation Foundation
  • John 5:11-12 – And this is the record, that God hath given to us eternal life, and this life is in his Son.

He that hath the Son hath life; and he that hath not the Son of God hath not life. Life begins with salvation, only living things keep building, salvation is a rebirth, a new beginning

John 3:3-5 – Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.

Nicodemus saith unto him, How can a man be born when he is old? can he enter the second time into his mother’s womb, and be born?

Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God.

  • Corinthians 5:17 – Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.

It is the sure foundation that secures both your future and your eternity.

  • It turns believers into children of light, freeing us from the horrors of darkness

Ephesians 5:8 – For ye were sometimes darkness, but now are ye light in the Lord: walk as children of light:

Colossians 1:13 – Who hath delivered us from the power of darkness, and hath translated us into the kingdom of his dear Son:

  • It raises us up with Christ, positioning us far above all tormentors and afflictions Ephesians 2:6 – And hath raised us up together, and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus:
  • In the kingdom of darkness, things never work and never last. In Egypt, darkness meant stagnation and torment (Exodus 10). Tonight is your night of escape.

How do you know if you are saved?

By their fruits you shall know them

Matthew 7:20 – Wherefore by their fruits ye shall know them.

The fruit of the regenerated spirit

Galatians 5:22-23 – But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith,

Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law.

is the proof:

  • Love for God comes alive.
  • Joy unspeakable is present.
  • Peace that passes understanding reigns.
  • Patience keeps you from haste.
  • Goodwill towards all men is your nature.
  • Self-discipline guides your life.

These virtues are seeds you must cultivate and grow through the word. Examine yourself to see if you are in the faith

2 Corinthians 13:5 – Examine yourselves, whether ye be in the faith; prove your own selves. Know ye not your own selves, how that Jesus Christ is in you, except ye be reprobates?

Beware of makeup salvation—it will betray you tomorrow.

  • The Revelation Foundation

Isaiah 5:13 – Therefore hell hath enlarged herself, and opened her mouth without measure: and their glory, and their multitude, and their pomp, and he that rejoiceth, shall descend into it.

John 8:32 – And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free

My people perish for lack of knowledge. The word is our spiritual diet that makes us strong John 4:34 – Jesus saith unto them, My meat is to do the will of him that sent me, and to finish his work.

Putting the word to work is a source of strength that makes you go from strength to strength.

  • Revelation of your royalty in Christ changes your outlook forever

Revelation 5:10 – And hast made us unto our God kings and priests: and we shall reign on the earth.

  • Revelation of empowerment for wealth destroys poverty mentality.
  • Revelation of healing and health secures your wholeness

Matthew 8:17 – That it might be fulfilled which was spoken by Esaias the prophet, saying, Himself took our infirmities, and bare our sicknesses.

  • You can only possess what you see in the Word.

But note: It is not what we know that changes us, but what we DO with what we know James 1:22-25 – But be ye doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves.

For if any be a hearer of the word, and not a doer, he is like unto a man beholding his natural face in a glass:

For he beholdeth himself, and goeth his way, and straightway forgetteth what manner of man he was.

But whoso looketh into the perfect law of liberty, and continueth therein, he being not a forgetful hearer, but a doer of the work, this man shall be blessed in his deed.

Applied revelation is what flies. It’s what you live by. Giants don’t rise overnight; they rise over time by consistently applying the light they receive.

  • The Faith Foundation

2 Peter 1:5-10 – And beside this, giving all diligence, add to your faith virtue; and to virtue knowledge;

And to knowledge temperance; and to temperance patience; and to patience godliness;

And to godliness brotherly kindness; and to brotherly kindness charity.

For if these things be in you, and abound, they make you that ye shall neither be barren nor unfruitful in the knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ.

But he that lacketh these things is blind, and cannot see afar off, and hath forgotten that he was purged from his old sins.

Wherefore the rather, brethren, give diligence to make your calling and election sure: for if ye do these things, ye shall never fall:

Faith is the baseline.Everything in the kingdom works by faith.

  • We live by faith

Hebrews 10:38 – Now the just shall live by faith: but if any man draw back, my soul shall have no pleasure in him.

  • We stand by faith

2 Corinthians 1:24 – Not for that we have dominion over your faith, but are helpers of your joy: for by faith ye stand.

  • We are healed by faith.
  • We command exploits by faith

Hebrews 11:33 – Who through faith subdued kingdoms, wrought righteousness, obtained promises, stopped the mouths of lions

  • We overcome the world by faith
  • John 5:4 – For whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world: and this is the victory that overcometh the world, even our faith.

Satan is all out to attack your faith to rob you of God’s best, little faith cannot stand storms; we need strong faith

Romans 4:20 – He staggered not at the promise of God through unbelief; but was strong in faith, giving glory to God;

Faith has an unlimited capacity for growth

John 14:12 – Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father.

  • Thessalonians 1:3 – We are bound to thank God always for you, brethren, as it is meet, because that your faith groweth exceedingly, and the charity of every one of you all toward each other aboundeth;

Take responsibility for building your faith:

  • By the Word: Faith comes by hearing the Word

Romans 10:17 – So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.

Read faith-building books and listen to messages.

  • By Prayer and Fasting: Some revelations and breakthroughs only come through this discipline

Matthew 17:21 – Howbeit this kind goeth not out but by prayer and fasting.

It brings a breakthrough of light.

  • The Sanctification Foundation

Isaiah 33:6 – And wisdom and knowledge shall be the stability of thy times, and strength of salvation: the fear of the LORD is his treasure.

The fear of the Lord is the treasure that provides stability and strength to salvation. Sanctification is a personal responsibility

2 Timothy 2:19-21 – Nevertheless the foundation of God standeth sure, having this seal, The Lord knoweth them that are his. And, Let every one that nameth the name of Christ depart from iniquity.

But in a great house there are not only vessels of gold and of silver, but also of wood and of earth; and some to honour, and some to dishonour.

If a man therefore purge himself from these, he shall be a vessel unto honour, sanctified, and meet for the master’s use, and prepared unto every good work.

Whoever purges himself becomes a vessel of honor, sanctified and useful for the Master.

  • To be spiritually minded is life and peace
