Empowerment For Profitable Living

AYAC 2024 2ND WORD MORNING SESSION

TITLE: – EMPOWERMENT FOR PROFITABLE LIVING

MINISTERING: – PST OLA JUDAH

TEXT: Romans 1: 4: And declared to be the Son of God with power, according to the spirit of holiness, by the resurrection from the dead.

This is Jesus, our pattern son. Jesus, our perfect example. And we know from the scriptures that Jesus lived a highly profitable life.

Acts 10: 38: How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Ghost and with power: who went about doing good, and healing all that were oppressed of the devil; for God was with him.

Jesus, our perfect example, lived a highly profitable life, as Jesus said,

John 20: 21: Then said Jesus to them again, Peace be unto you: as my Father hath sent me, even so send I you.

So, you and I were redeemed to live a highly profitable life after the order of Christ, after the similitude of Christ.

In Psalms 45: 7-8: Thou lovest righteousness, and hatest wickedness: therefore God, thy God, hath anointed thee with the oil of gladness above thy fellows. All thy garments smell of myrrh, and aloes, and cassia, out of the ivory palaces, whereby they have made thee glad.

Remember Acts 10:38, we read earlier, it said,

How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Ghost and with power: who went about doing good, and healing all that were oppressed of the devil; for God was with him.

How did that anointing come to bear? Psalms 45: 7- 8.

THOU LOVETH RIGHTEOUSNESS, IN JESUS’s OWN WORD, HE SAID “HE THAT SENT ME IS WITH ME. My father has not left me alone.”

Why? I do always the thing that pleases him.

John 8: 29: And he that sent me is with me: the Father hath not left me alone; for I do always those things that please him.

If you and I were going to live a profitable life, understand that we need empowerment to live that quality of life. Jesus is the example for us.

Prayer: I see you and I living this mountain to live profitable lives in the name of Jesus.

But understand that the profiting of Jesus did not just manifest, the quality of life he lived was not accidental. The profiting of his life began to manifest at the instance of being empowered by the Holy Ghost.

Luke 4: 14 – 15: And Jesus returned in the power of the Spirit into Galilee: and there went out a fame of him through all the region round about. And he taught in their synagogues, being glorified of all.

Yesterday night, our Father in the faith told us how that…..he lacked identity, his messiahnic mininstry was without expression. Until, he was empowered by the Holy Ghost, so his profiting began to manifest at the instance of the empowerment of the spirit.

Acts 1: 8: But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth.

Among other things, being is witness means you shall become a proof of all that redemption carries, become a proof of all that redemption offers.

Prayer: I’m praying for someone upon this mountain that as you depart from here, for you and I, it shall be said that we are a living proof of the resurrection of Christ. You and I are returning to manifest as living proofs of redemption indeed. Let me hear a stronger and louder Amen if you receive it.

So for you and I to manifest and live a profitable life, we need to be empowered. It takes empowerment to live profitable lives.

John 14; 12: Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father.

But understand that until you receive unction, you and I cannot function. No unction, no manifestation. A profitable life is impossible without the empowerment of the spirit. You and I cannot make impact until we are empowered. Impact is a product of empowerment. The greater the empowerment, the greater our level of impact and the greater our profitable living.

Prayer: In the name of Jesus the Christ, upon this mountain, there is coming upon you and I a strange outpouring of the spirit that will empower us for profitable living in the name of Jesus.

Also, please note that Christ is coming to rapture a glorious church, without spots or wrinkle.

Ephesians 5: 25 – 27: Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the church, and gave himself for it;

That he might sanctify and cleanse it with the washing of water by the word,

That he might present it to himself a glorious church, not having spot, or wrinkle, or any such thing; but that it should be holy and without blemish.

That is the church Jesus is coming to rapture and that church is you and I, not just the building but you and I.

Prayer: In the name of Jesus, we will see the good hands of God comes strong upon us.

In 2 Corinthians 11: 1 – 3: Would to God ye could bear with me a little in my folly: and indeed bear with me.

For I am jealous over you with godly jealousy: for I have espoused you to one husband, that I may present you as a chaste virgin to Christ.

But I fear, lest by any means, as the serpent beguiled Eve through his subtilty, so your minds should be corrupted from the simplicity that is in Christ.

There shall be a downpour of the rain of righteousness upon the church in these last days. And that rain will come upon you and I. You and I will be different in deed.

Isaiah 62; 1- 5:

For Zion’s sake will I not hold my peace, and for Jerusalem’s sake I will not rest, until the righteousness thereof go forth as brightness, and the salvation thereof as a lamp that burneth.

And the Gentiles shall see thy righteousness, and all kings thy glory: and thou shalt be called by a new name, which the mouth of the LORD shall name.

Thou shalt also be a crown of glory in the hand of the LORD, and a royal diadem in the hand of thy God.

Thou shalt no more be termed Forsaken; neither shall thy land any more be termed Desolate: but thou shalt be called Hephzibah, and thy land Beulah: for the LORD delighteth in thee, and thy land shall be married.

For as a young man marrieth a virgin, so shall thy sons marry thee: and as the bridegroom rejoiceth over the bride, so shall thy God rejoice over thee.

All of that is a result of the rain of righteousness, transforming our lives, changing our lives.

We heard the testimony of the brethren yesterday, one of them who was a drug baron, and how everything went, no peace, no rest. Everything stopped working but when he turned to God and embraced righteousness. Look at him yesterday, free, peace on every side, rest on every side, his life transformed.

We heard the other fellow who came in from Ghana. Had been in Ghana, doing yahoo yahoo, and all the others. He did everything, drugs and took all kinds of things. And you know some of those guys, they don’t do it ordinarily. They are all in different dimensions. Now, that young man had gone all the levels, nothing worked, and he was miserable until he returned. Listen to me, men and brethren, your dignity is in your righteousness.

2 Timothy 2: 19 – 21:

Nevertheless the foundation of God standeth sure, having this seal, The Lord knoweth them that are his. And, Let every one that nameth the name of Christ depart from iniquity.

But in a great house there are not only vessels of gold and of silver, but also of wood and of earth; and some to honour, and some to dishonour.

If a man therefore purge himself from these, he shall be a vessel unto honour, sanctified, and meet for the master’s use, and prepared unto every good work.

To be honored among other things means to be highly esteemed, to be a person that cannot be insulted. To be a person that cannot be called names, to be a person that is not a bye word and a proverb. One who is highly esteemed, treated with dignity and honor. You want to see that happen in your life, he said, the foundation is a departure from iniquity.

Listen to me, there is nothing that you enjoy outside of Christ. He said, I Jesus, I have come that you may have life and have it more abundantly.

John10: 10: The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.

A lot of us as youth, we don’t have this, under perpetual pressure. Presssure of the times that we are in, pressure to make it quick, pressure to make it fast, cut corners, do all kinds of things. Peer pressure, environmental pressure, all kinds of pressure. But, can I tell you this, he said to be carnally minded is dead, but to be spiritually minded is life and peace; Romans 8: 6.

The peace that passeth all understanding, the peace that flows like a river, the peace that makes you uncheckered, no matter what is happening around you, you’re not troubled. You don’t see a police man and you take off, you don’t see somebody who is a stranger, he is not looking for you, yet you are on the run. Why? Because you know deep down inside of you the things you do in the secret. You hear two people conversing, you assume, it is me they are talking about. Maybe, the thing that I did somebody saw it or somebody have whispered it and then you begin to analyse and rationalize all things. And everything comes down together and put you under one thing, pressure, and unnecessary pressure.

In Christ, there is no pressure. In Christ, there is liberty. In Christ, there is peace. In Christ, there is abundant life.

Have heard our father in the faith say over and over again, that God may be slow but God is sure. And it is better to be slow and sure than to be fast and fail. Wake up!

You lose nothing following Jesus, you lose nothing standing for righteousness. Wake up!

We are in the days of the spirit, the rain of righteousness. You want things to work, you better embrace Jesus.

Isaiah 32: 15 – 17: Until the spirit be poured upon us from on high, and the wilderness be a fruitful field, and the fruitful field be counted for a forest.

Then judgment shall dwell in the wilderness, and righteousness remain in the fruitful field.

And the work of righteousness shall be peace; and the effect of righteousness quietness and assurance for ever.

A wilderness is a place where nothing grows, nothing works. But, he said when the spirit is poured out, in nothing will come everything. The earth was without form and void, nothing was on the face of the earth, but then the spirit of God moved on the face of the waters and out of nothing God made everything that we see today; Genesis 1: 2.

It doesn’t matter your state, it doesn’t matter what has happened before, if you would embrace Jesus, it doesn’t take time, and it only takes God. When God steps in, everything turns around in a twinkle of an eye.

Prayer: The grace required, that grace comes afresh upon you on this mountain.

We are in the days of the outpouring of the grace of righteousness. Understand that, at the root of profitable living is righteousness.

1 Timothy 4: 8b: For bodily exercise profiteth little: but godliness is profitable unto all things, having promise of the life that now is, and of that which is to come.

You see our father in the faith living a highly profitable life.

How many of you like to be like our father in the faith?

Infact, some of you, in your prayer, it is Lord, even if you don’t give me everything, even if it is one over 10 I’m okay. I don’t want too much, just one over 10, I’m satisfied.

But what is the secret of our father in the faith? He calls it the jackpot of life Matthew 6: 33.

You’re not created to be independent, you are created to depend on God. When Adam tried to be independent, he lost his place. No one of us is created to be independent. Our sufficiency is of God and not in ourselves. The earlier you embrace the reality of the truth the better for you. There is no MOUNT OF LABOUR THAT YOU WANT TO LABOUR THAT will meet all your need. It is not possible. The only one who meets all needs is God.

Philippians 4:19: But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus.

He has been trading that for 40 years and today the profiting is there for all of us to see. Everywhere across the nations. Have heard him say also that you can read all my messages, listen to all my messages, sorry, in fact you can even preach them but you don’t know my secret, until you know my heartbeat for God. The harder you follow me the harder you fly. And you can’t follow God in sin or carnality. The hour cometh, the father seeketh they that will worship Him.

How will they do it? They will do it in spirit and in truth.

This one leg in church, one leg outside is the reason why nothing is balanced.

It is important to also note that GODLINESS IS either A PRESENT TENSE EXPERIENCE otherwise its value is lost; Ezekiel 18: 20 – 24.

You need sustained righteousness. In the words of our father, be born again and remain so. Be spiritual and remain so. In the local palace, they say I get am before no be property. In those days, when I used to be on fire for days, in those days, when we were on campus. Haba!

Prayer: May that not be your own experience. And for anyone that may be under such satanic siege, in the name of Jesus, by the unction of liberation upon this altar, you are loosed from that siege of the wicked. Upon this mountain, your fire shall be restored, your passion shall be restored.

Ezekiel 18: 20 – 22

That means, it doesn’t matter what he has done before, it doesn’t matter the kind of life he leads, if he will turn to God.

Ezekiel 18: 23: Your sins I will remember them no more, I will blot them out and will remember them no more, if you will turn to him.

For God to truly forbid, you have a responsibility to work out your salvation with fear and trembling. Work it out. Stop making excuses. Stop looking for who to blame.

Your friend may entice you, people may lure you into sin bit when the result and the effects come, and every man will answer for himself. It was the serpent that lured Eve to eat of the fruit and then it came to Adam but when Judgment came, every man answered for himself; Proverbs 1: 10.

You have the power to say no, you have that ability to say no, you have what it takes to say no.

No! I refuse.

No!

Understand that Satan is ever on the hunt to get believers off and to disconnect us from our glorious destiny, but he will not catch you; Luke 22: 31, Hebrews 12: 2 – 3.

Prayer: You will not be sieved as wheat! Amen!

You want to live a righteous life, understand that righteousness is warfare. You must embrace spiritual warfare, you are not going to be righteous because you wish to be righteous, and you’re going to be righteous because you understand the warfare dimension of righteousness, the ability to take a strong position in God, to take a stand in God.

Righteousness is a choice until you make a decision for righteousness, you can’t live a righteous life. A lot of times, the reason why people fall, at every temptation is because they have not made a decision for righteousness. They are not even sure if they can live a righteous life or not. So, you hear people talk about well, there is nobody that is perfect. If God says that we should be perfect, how does God want me to be perfect, if I’m still in the flesh? There is no way to be perfect. Until you come to that place when you come to understand that he that is born of God overcomes the world and the temptations of the world and this is the victory that overcomes the world even our faith. 1 John 5:4.

We have what it takes to dominate sin. We have what it takes to live a righteous life. We have what it takes to walk with God. If Abraham in the Old Testament can walk with God, how much more you and I who are in a better covenant. Walk before me and Abraham did; Gen 17: 1.

Make a decision!

Daniel made a decision to not defile himself with the king’s meat. Joseph made a decision not to touch Portiphar’s wife even though nobody was there. Job made a decision to covenant with his eyes not to look upon a maiden. Make a decision for righteousness; 2 Corinthians 6: 17.

Make a dare to be different. It doesn’t matter how many people are doing it, I will not. Make a decision to be different. Don’t stop at making a decision, take responsibility, and work out your own salvation. Stop giving excuses, stop looking for who to blame. Life is an individual race, every man will answer for himself.

Righteousness demands individuality.

Understand that only those who are hungry for righteousness can live a righteous life.

What are you hungry for?

If you’re hungry for righteousness, feed on righteous content, and you will be righteous. The reason why so many of us are struggling is because of the things we feed on, on social media. You go to instagram, what are the things you look upon? All of the platforms that you are involved in, what are you feeding yourselves? What are you consuming?

You have wet dreams, why will you not have wet dreams when your eyes was already wet before you went to bed.

Righteousness demands personal hunger. Sanctification is God’s will for us. Understand that in this last days, we are in a fierce battle against the forces of ungodliness. Revelation 12: 12.

Let me mention this very quickly, people of God understand, particularly those of us in the Gen Z generation, there is no Gen Z God, the God of old is still the same and he is called thrice holy, thrice righteous, Holy, Holy, Holy is the Lord. God will not compromise his standard because you are Gen Z. The standard of scripture is the same for all ages. Jesus is the same, there is no Gen Z Jesus; Hebrews 13: 8. There is no Gen Z Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit is the internal Spirit, as he was, so he is and so he shall be.

You can’t make God conform to the world. God is in charge of his kingdom. God is in charge of his own. God is too big for you to think that God will compromise because of you. There is no Gen Z bible, the word of God is the same for all generations; Psalms 119: 89.

Better wake up and embrace the truth. There is no Gen Z Christianity, the standards of Christianity and the conducts is the same for all generations. Without holiness, no man can see God. The ways of God are the same for all generations and the ways of God are the highways of life and this highways of life is the way of holiness; Isaiah 35: 8.

You want to see God in strange dimensions, you want to live a profitable life, and you must embrace the highways of holiness.

Isaiah 35: 8: And an highway shall be there, and a way, and it shall be called The way of holiness; the unclean shall not pass over it; but it shall be for those: the wayfaring men, though fools, shall not err therein.

The way of God is higher than the ways of men and that way is the highway of life. Workout your salvation.

Understand that the root of ungodliness is Evil thoughts; Mark 7: 21 – 23, Proverbs 4: 23.

Protect your heart, defend your heart, until we conquer evil thought, we cannot overcome evil acts.

Philipians 4: 8: Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things.

Four ways to purify our thoughts

1)  We must engage in prayers to be delivered from all temptations; Matthew 26: 41.

But if you pray, you will not sink. The difference between Jesus and Peter when confronted with temptation, while Jesus prayed, Peter slept. Jesus was tempted, he stood, Peter was tempted, and he fell flat. Why? His spirit man was weak.

Prayer fortifies and charges our spirit, most especially when you pray in the Holy Ghost.

2)  We must ensure that the word of God dwells deeply and richly in our heart; Colossians 3: 16, Matthew 12: 43.

Take daily dose of the word. Have a word schedule; Acts 20: 32.

3)  We must engage the blood of Jesus to cleanse our conscience from every evil thoughts; Hebrews 9: 13.

Engage the weapon of the blood. Certain thoughts are running through your mind, I refuse to think like that, I rebuke you in the name of Jesus. I come against you by the blood of the lamb. My thoughts purified, my mind purified, Satan you have no access to my mind. You need to start thinking about the things you think about and start reacting against them. Engage the blood!

4)  We must flee every appearance of evil; 2 Timothy 2: 22.

Don’t form spiritual. Flee! Don’t try to test if you can stand or not, flee. He that plays with fire will get burnt, flee. Abstain from all appearances of evil.

Prayer: In the name of Jesus, you and I will succeed. Indeed upon this mountain, we shall be empowered for profitable living.

The Holy Spirit is our Helper, He is the one who helps us to live a sanctified life. He’s the one who helps us to live a life that is well pleasing and acceptable unto God; Malachi 3: 1 – 4.

Prayer: In the name of Jesus, upon this mountain, you and I shall return empowered to take charge and to dominate our world in the name of Jesus Christ.

Action:- Give the Lord a big clap of praise

Empowered for exploits

AYAC 2024 DAY 2

MORNING SESSION

WORD 1

EMPOWERED FOR EXPLOITS – PASTOR STEVE OGAH**

The Holy Spirit is the principal source of empowerment in this kingdom (Acts 1:8; Acts 2:22-23). The Holy Spirit empowers the believer through diverse channels, and we’ll be exploring those channels in all our sessions.

1. **The Spirit of Wisdom

1 Corinthians 12:6-8 (NIV):

*”There are different kinds of working, but in all of them and in everyone it is the same God at work. Now to each one the manifestation of the Spirit is given for the common good. To one there is given through the Spirit a message of wisdom, to another a message of knowledge by means of the same Spirit, to another faith by the same Spirit, to another gift of healing by that one Spirit.”*

Isaiah 11:2 (NIV):

“The Spirit of the Lord will rest on him— the Spirit of wisdom and of understanding, the Spirit of counsel and of might, the Spirit of the knowledge and fear of the Lord.”

Every believer who carries the Holy Ghost on the inside, carries a deposit of the Spirit of Wisdom. It takes the empowerment of the Spirit of Wisdom to command exploits. When we check all through the scripture, we find out that the Spirit of Wisdom was behind the making of many kingdom giants. One time ordinary men became trans-generational entities because of the Spirit of Wisdom. Think about Moses; this man manifested strange dimensions. He related face-to-face with God. Deuteronomy 34:9 (NIV): “Now Joshua son of Nun was filled with the spirit of wisdom because Moses had laid his hands on him. So the Israelites listened to him and did what the Lord had commanded Moses.”  Moses was a carrier of the Spirit of Wisdom. One man led 3 million people from the land of captivity to their promised land.

Think about David, another man, a carrier of the Spirit of Wisdom, distinguished among the kings of Israel. David manifested all of this through the Spirit of Wisdom 2 Samuel 14:20 (NIV): “Your servant Joab did this to change the present situation. My lord has wisdom like that of an angel of God—knowledge of all things that happen in the land.”

Think about Paul, another distinguished apostle (2 Pet 3:15)

“Bear in mind that our Lord’s patience means salvation, just as our dear brother Paul also wrote you with the wisdom that God gave him.”

Paul never met Jesus in the flesh. He came late but overtook all of the other apostles. He said of himself, “I’m the least of all the apostles, but upon my arrival, I carried the Spirit of Wisdom.”

Prayer: Somebody here, God will grant you supernatural speed.

So when you carry wisdom, it shows; it distinguishes. Till tomorrow, you can’t preach a complete message of the gospel without reference to Paul.

Prayer: By the impartation of the Spirit of Wisdom which is coming upon every one of us on this mountain, each one will be moving to realms of trans-generational impact. This generation will celebrate you.

The good news is that in these last days, we are in the days of the manifold wisdom of God.

Ephesians 3:10 (NIV): “His intent was that now, through the church, the manifold wisdom of God should be made known to the rulers and authorities in the heavenly realms,”

We also further understand that nothing wins the world like wisdom.

Ecclesiastes 9:14-15 (NIV): “There was once a small city with only a few people in it. And a powerful king came against it, surrounded it, and built huge siege works against it. Now there lived in that city a man poor but wise, and he saved the city by his wisdom. But nobody remembered that poor man.

When the Spirit of Wisdom comes upon a man, no matter the battle he’s confronted with, there’s guaranteed victory.

So divine wisdom remains the most effective weapon to bring down the strength of principalities and powers. But this wisdom is packaged in a mystery.

1 Corinthians 2:7-10 (NIV): “No, we declare God’s wisdom, a mystery that has been hidden and that God destined for our glory before time began. None of the rulers of this age understood it, for if they had, they would not have crucified the Lord of glory. However, as it is written: ‘What no eye has seen, what no ear has heard, and what no human mind has conceived’—the things God has prepared for those who love him—these are the things God has revealed to us by his Spirit. The Spirit searches all things, even the deep things of God.

Mysteries are hidden truths available to all but accessible by few. Most times, it does not appear sound to the common man.

1 Corinthians 2:14 (NIV): “The person without the Spirit does not accept the things that come from the Spirit of God but considers them foolishness, and cannot understand them because they are discerned only through the Spirit.”

This wisdom cannot be understood by common sense (Isa 55:8). This wisdom might not appear sound but does not lack proof.

The wisdom of God is domiciled in His Word (Luke 11:49). So every word from God contains the wisdom from God (2 Tim 3:15). What is the Holy Spirit able to do? It can make you wise. That’s why the devil will stop at nothing to estrange the believer’s access to this book. Have you wondered why sometimes when you pray, you are largely active? When it’s time to praise, you are jumping, but when the time comes for the Word, hmmm… The major area we challenge ourselves in this year should be to eat the Word. After dawn, you quote yourself that you will finish the Bible every day, 5 chapters. Tell somebody like that here: 5 chapters every day. And the moment you open the book, hmmmm… You start at the first verse, second verse, and tenth verse—the energy you begin with is nose-diving. And then, all of a sudden, a strange wind begins to blow. Come on, don’t pretend that you don’t know what I’m talking about. You begin to see men like trees; you begin to see revelation and insight that is not in that book. And then you close the book and you say, “Surely God’s goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life and I shall dwell in the house of God.” And the devil will say, “Amen.” The devil will stop at nothing to restrain the believer’s access to this book because the wisdom of God is domiciled in the Word of God. But from today, it will not happen to anyone here. A fresh hunger for the Word is coming upon every youth. So this wisdom simply means applying God’s Word as appropriate to any given situation. It is simply applying God’s Word as appropriate to any given situation (Matt 7:24-25). From today, the house of your destiny will not fall. I am praying for one person here: the house of your destiny will not crash.

So this wisdom simply means applying God’s Word as appropriate (James 1:22). Be ye doers; don’t explain it, do it. Don’t just hear it, do it. It is the doing of the Word that makes a man wise (James 1:23). Be ye doers of the Word, not hearers only, otherwise, you are deceiving yourself.

The question is, how then do we access this wisdom for exploits? If we have established that the Spirit of God is the Spirit of Wisdom and that it takes the Spirit of Wisdom to command exploits in life, how then do I access the Spirit of Wisdom?

  1. **Through the Prayer Altar: James 1:5—“If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him.”

If any of you lack wisdom, that does not mean you do not have it, but if you think that you need it, ask God. There is a wisdom for every level of life. In the school of wisdom, there is no limit; there is no graduation. If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God that giveth to all men liberally. The word liberally means lavishly, lavishly, lavishly. That’s how He gave Solomon. Solomon asked and God gave liberally. In one sweep, an ordinary man became an extraordinary man. How? The Spirit of Wisdom. The Spirit of Wisdom is the difference maker, the story changer. Let him ask.

We see Daniel in Daniel 6:10—“Now when Daniel knew that the writing was signed, he went into his house; and his windows being open in his chamber toward Jerusalem, he kneeled upon his knees three times a day, and prayed, and gave thanks before his God, as he did aforetime.” Daniel, a man of unchecked wisdom, was distinguished among the princes. In Daniel 6:10, he prayed; he needed to contact the all-wise God. So he prayed to the God of all wisdom. If you need wisdom, pray to the God of wisdom. And with this, Daniel became relevant generation after generation. Kings came and died; Daniel remained. In Daniel 5:11, they testified of a man of unchecked wisdom, saying, “There is a man in your kingdom.” One thing about this wisdom is that it announces you. Hear this: upon your return from AYAC 2024, as you become an embodiment of the Spirit of Wisdom, you will be announced to your world. They said to the king, “King, you are a new king; you will not know what has been happening, but there is a man in this kingdom in whom the spirit of the holy gods” (Dan 5:11). Now they could not define the Holy Spirit, so the best way they could explain Him was to say the holy gods. But what they meant was that there is a man in whom the Spirit of the Holy God (Dan 5:11). When others were stranded, Daniel had the solution. Watch this: as you go back from AYAC 2024, the wisdom of God will catapult you. Are you hearing what I’m saying? In the same way, the wisdom of God catapulted Daniel, this wisdom will catapult someone to the top. At every crossroad, divine wisdom has a way out. That was the story of Daniel. They began to testify that this Daniel is not like the others; he was a carrier of the Spirit of Wisdom. That sets a man in a whole new class. Now let’s read down (Dan 5:11), in case you didn’t hear me the first time. Because the wisdom at work with him made him master of the magicians, astrologers, Chaldeans, and soothsayers. So this wisdom makes you a master. This wisdom will bring out the master in all our youth. You get back to school; by the working of this divine wisdom, you move from third class to first class. Are you hearing what I’m saying? You get back to your offices; by the workings of this wisdom, when the entire organization is stranded, the wisdom will begin to put solutions in your heart. As you drop the solution, they will tell you there is no point; you take over. You’re the one with the answers. Take over. That will be somebody’s testimony. If you are shouting amen, make it loud and clear.

2. Through Meditation in the Word: Psalm 119:97-98—“O how love I thy law! It is my meditation all the day. Thou through thy commandments hast made me wiser than mine enemies: for they are ever with me.” So thinking the Word makes you wise. Thinking the Word—we think of too many junks; think the Word. Meditate on the Word. Watch this: Psalm 119:98—“Thou through thy commandments hast made me wiser than mine enemies: for they are ever with me.” But they are ever helpless. Why? Divine wisdom. I have more understanding than my teachers (Ps 119:99). Psalm 119:100—“I understand more than the ancients because I keep thy precepts.” You want to contact this fountain of the Spirit of Wisdom through meditation in the Word. Spend time to soak yourself in the Word. Separate yourself and think on the Word. “A man having separated himself intermeddleth with all wisdom.” Settle down in the Word and absorb all the nutrients in the Word through meditation. In 1 Timothy 4:13, hear the charge that Paul gave: “Till I come, give attendance to reading, to exhortation, to doctrine.” All of this refers to the Word. “Neglect not the gift.” These are gifts; don’t neglect them. Think on the Word.

3. Through the Inspiration of the Holy Spirit: When the Holy Ghost begins to brood over the minds of men, through the inspiration of the Holy Ghost, wisdom springs forth. In Job 32:7-8, Job says, “I thought wisdom comes with age.” No, have you not heard very foolish things spoken by old people? Wisdom is not a function of age. But have you not heard some amazing words of wisdom come from a young child? From today, every word that comes out of your mouth will be clouded with divine wisdom. But hear what Job was saying—he said, “I thought before, but this is what I know as the truth: there is a spirit in man, and the inspiration of the Almighty giveth him understanding.” When the Holy Ghost begins to brood over the minds and intellect of man, wisdom springs forth.

In 1 Corinthians 2:12-14, this wisdom makes you know the things that are freely given to us. Verse 13 says that when this Spirit begins to brood, the words that come out of your mouth are not natural. The solutions that come from your innermost being aren’t natural. While others are stranded, the wisdom of God just comes—whoosh—solutions land.

Consider the building of the Faith Tabernacle. There came a time when a structure was already built, and they needed to bring in one of their big machines. But the machine couldn’t go through the doors, and the engineers all stood there thinking, “What do we do? Do we break the columns on top to give allowance and headroom for the machine to come in? If we break it, it may affect the structure.” And they began to ponder and wonder, “What do we do?” Then God’s servant, our Father, arrived on the scene. “What’s going on?” he asked. “We are faced with a challenge,” they said. “We need this machine to go inside, but the only solution is to break the column on top, and it may affect the structure. It may come down.” Then the Holy Ghost began to brood, and all of a sudden, he said, “What is the size of the tire?” They told him. “What is the headroom you need? Deflate the tire, drive the truck inside, and then pump the tire back up.”

Unveiling the Power Factor of Redemption – Bishop David Oyedepo

As many as received Him, to them gave He power to manifest as sons of God (John 1:12).

It’s important to be empowered and stay empowered in increasing dimensions. Salvation without empowerment will result in frustration. After teaching the disciples for three and a half years, Jesus said, “I can’t guarantee your triumph; tarry in Jerusalem until you are endued with power from on high” (Luke 24:49), so that you can secure your place and space. Meanwhile, rejoice because your names are written in heaven.

As many as received Him first, to them gave He power. Second, men and brethren, what shall we do? Repent, and you shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost. There are different experiences: salvation and empowerment. Salvation qualifies us for empowerment, but it’s not empowerment itself. You shall receive power after the Holy Ghost has come upon you; it’s a different experience.

The falling away of many in these last days is largely a result of a lack of empowerment. They can’t stand the storms or withstand the evil day because the emphasis is shifted from empowerment to teaching. Teachings are toothless without empowerment. Jesus returned in the power of the Spirit (Luke 4:14), and His words were with power (Luke 4:32). With great power and authority, He cast out evil spirits (Luke 4:36).

It is the Spirit that quickens; the flesh profits nothing. The words I have spoken to you, they are spirit, and they are life.

It is the spirited war that counts. The quest for empowerment is dying; the church is full of theologians. It’s time to return to the source. Creation began with the move of the Spirit; it’s when God moved upon the deep and then God’s word came, empowered by that Spirit, to create. Christ was unrecognized for thirty years until power came. The disciples were fearful and jittery in the upper room, but when power came, they were transformed.

There is a need to renew your quest for empowerment to concentrate on a level of many fulfillments and triumphs. My prayer is that every single person in this convention, both here and around the world where we are gathered, will not leave without a genuine experience of baptism in the Holy Ghost and connect to the channel of continuous infilling so as to remain in command. For the kingdom of God is not in word but in power, as Paul said in 1 Corinthians 2:4-5. You don’t wish to be empowered; you set yourself for empowerment.

O Lord my God, the psalmist said (Psalm 63:1-3), “I want to see Your power, see Your glory,” and the word says (Psalm 89:20-24), “Now that’s empowerment.” You thirst for it, and when it comes, you command dominion. My soul thirsted for Thee.

Everyone craving empowerment on this mountain, you are returning a changed person. Empowerment turns believers into another man. He said, “And thou shalt be turned into another man.” It turns men into another man.

They couldn’t recognize Peter anymore. When they saw the boldness of Peter and John, knowing they were ignorant and unlearned men, they took knowledge of them that they had been with Christ. They were operating on the frequency of Christ with authority (Acts 4:13). That’s what empowerment does; it turns you into another man. You emerge a surprise to yourself. That shall be your experience here!

The things we say may look ordinary to people, but because of the Spirit behind them—the Spirit of God behind those words—they bring about unusual things. It’s your turn!

It is the power factor that differentiates Christianity from other faiths. It’s that power factor that differentiates your life from others. My prayer is that no one returns home the same way they came. But the covenant foundation for empowerment is salvation: repent and be converted, which means to be saved, and then you qualify to be empowered. Then you shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost (Acts 2:37-39).

Men and brethren, what should we do? Repent and be converted, and then you shall receive the gift of the Holy Spirit. The reason many people don’t get baptized is that they haven’t really repented. They will try to conform.

No one is a candidate for a kind of empowerment until they have genuinely repented. I had a very interesting experience because of my evangelical background. I did not believe that there was any need for baptism in the Holy Ghost. We were told that when you are saved, you can’t say “love” without the Holy Spirit, so you already have the Holy Spirit. Because that was what I was taught, I followed them and was teaching it. One day, I said to myself, “What if they are right after all?” I said, “Holy Ghost, if You are anywhere, baptize me by the Spirit.” No one laid hands on me.

A friend came to tap me for a meeting. In a little bit of time, as I opened my eyes, I began to speak in tongues fluently. From that day till now, it’s as automatic as that. Are you truly converted, that’s where the question is: have you repented, and are you really converted? Empowerment is an automatic gift; it follows you when you are truly converted.

A young man read my book *The Miracle Seed* in 1985. He was a Catholic boy. He got a copy of the book and was moved by the Holy Spirit, I believe, to a mountain near his home. He read the book. In chapter one, he gave his life to Christ. In chapter three, he got filled with the Holy Spirit by himself, speaking in tongues. Today, he has a network of churches.

You can’t be genuinely converted and be crying and begging for the baptism; it is the birthright of every child of God. But that’s where many stop until the while is gone. Take note that empowerment is in levels. They received power on the day of Pentecost (Acts 1:8; 4:33; Ephesians 1:19), the exceeding greatness of His power, which erupted when He raised Christ from the dead. We have the exceeding greatness of His power—call it exceeding great power. So, you move from power to great power, from great power to exceeding great power, and you move from there to the realm of the power of the world to come.

They brought a young child to me on Wednesday. He had died when he was four years old, and God raised him back from the dead. Now he told his mother, “The only gift I want is to be taken to Papa. He is the one I saw that said I should get back.” I was speaking here; he was standing there. It was him I saw that said I must get back.

Fear is a robber; it’s a tormentor; it’s a destroyer. Job said, “The things I greatly feared have come upon me” (Job 3:24-25). Every man is a victim of his fear. That’s how much we need the Holy Spirit. 1 John 4:18 says, “Fear has torment,” so fear torments its victim. When Peter saw the storm, he began to sink. Fear drowns destiny (Matthew 14:30). That’s how much you and I need the Holy Spirit to be free from the torment, the robbery, and the destruction that fear brings. Fear ensnares the destiny of believers (Proverbs 29:25). It ensnares destiny, gets you stranded. Most people are running up and down; behind depression is fear. The uncertainties of tomorrow and the sole aim of depression is suicide. What are you still doing here? You don’t have a future. It is the fear of failure that makes a failure.

No, there are giants we can’t enter, and they never did. They saw the good land, they saw the good fruit, but fear wouldn’t let them in. You have a great future; may fear not rob you of your great future (Numbers 13:17-33; Numbers 14:1-3).

It is the fear of lack that makes a pauper. There was famine in the land; it was a grievous famine (Genesis 47:15). But in verse 27, Israel dwelt in the same nation, had possession therein, grew, and multiplied exceedingly in the midst of the heated famine. The covenant was their stronghold, and they were gloriously exempted. You shall be exempted. Amen!!!

It is the fear of sickness that makes one sick. It is not death that kills; it is the fear of death that kills. You are driving, and suddenly you find yourself heading for a head-on collision, and you are already praying your last prayer, “I think it’s over. Thank You, receive me into Your kingdom.” Fear is one of the worst enemies of man; there is no known technique to overcome it. It is the Spirit of power that can subdue the spirit of fear. God has not given us the spirit of fear but of power to subdue the spirit of fear. So, it’s not just a state of the mind but a spirit.

You find Peter saying, “We cannot but speak those things we have heard and seen.” That’s not the Peter we used to know who was swearing before a little girl. He faced the whole crowd and said, “We cannot but speak those things we have heard and

seen. We cannot!! You can’t stop us. Who are you?” Something has gotten into him. May that same force get into you today (Amen).

This is why we need to keep praying for continuous infilling of the Holy Spirit, because the more filled we are with the Holy Spirit, the more fearless we become, and the greater command we gain of the supernatural. It is fear that makes believers lose their authority to command the supernatural. They are the ones who are speaking boldly in the Lord, fearlessly. That’s the meaning, and God began to bear witness to the word of His grace, granting signs and wonders to be done by their hands (Acts 14:3). Speaking boldly in the Lord, speaking fearlessly, no one can command the supernatural with fear. He said, “I would boldly speak the word, and signs and wonders may be done by the child of the holy child Jesus.” The place was shaken where they were gathered together, and they were filled with the Holy Ghost, and they spoke the word of God with boldness. Great grace was upon them all—great grace, great proofs, great proofs emanating.

That’s how much every one of us needs the power of the Holy Ghost actively at work in our lives to subdue the horror, the devastation, the destruction of the spirit of fear. Again, this kingdom is not in words but in power. The world is waiting for the manifestation, the demonstration of the sons of God. They see the sons of God holding the answer to their problems, so they are waiting. I, therefore, decree in the name of the Lord Jesus that every genuinely thirsty soul here will return empowered into the next level. You will return empowered into the next level. You will return empowered into the next level.

For the few moments that we have, listen: the Holy Ghost is the fire, the word is the wood. So, for everyone baptized in the Holy Ghost, as the word goes forth, the fire burns higher. You are casting new wood into the fire; the fire keeps burning high. My God, interestingly, “Is not My word like fire?” His word was like fire shut up in my bones. I could not forbear (Jeremiah 20:9). No one can stay empowered without the word. As He was speaking these words, the Holy Ghost fell on them. So, the Holy Ghost resides in the word (Acts 10:44). It’s not just about crying for empowerment; it is knowing how to keep the fire burning. Leviticus 6:12 says, “The fire upon the altar shall be burning; it shall not go out.” But the priest must burn wood on it every morning, every morning, every morning. We find the fire by the word. We find the fire by the word. Young people, hear me: your time is being molested by all kinds of junk. The fire of the Holy Ghost is only found by the word. I still read daily and I write daily, and I’m not busy. I keep thanking God for the grace for sustainable relevance. I still read daily and I write daily. You can’t have the word and sustain the fire.

And what more, the Holy Spirit is our access into the deep things of God. I am sure we were having a session on that in the course of this convention. He provides us access to the wood to keep the fire burning. When He comes, He will teach you all things and bring to your remembrance all things you have heard of Him. Yes, we need a thirst and a longing for change of levels in the school of power, but we need the fire to sustain. We need the word to sustain the fire.

Finally, you know that we are not entitled to new wine with an old lifestyle. New wine must be put into new wine skins, and He sanctifies us by His word to keep us to access new wine. No man puts new wine into old bottles; as the new wine will burst the bottles and be spilled, and the bottles shall perish. You can’t access the new wine with an old lifestyle, and the word comes in and sorts it out. That’s why it’s a whole lot of responsibility to stay empowered. My prayer is that no life here shall be molested, and no one among us will end his life in regret. Regret not selling your birthright for a portion of meat. In the name of Jesus, your tomorrow is great. What you do with today is what defines your tomorrow. Your tomorrow is great, but what you do with today is what defines your tomorrow.

Your tomorrow is not a chorus; it’s a responsible possibility. Someone said, “As the morning shows the day, so the child shows the man.” Playboys today don’t impart their world tomorrow. It takes a serious approach to secure a glorious result. All sports stars began their journey early. Yes, sir, this is your best season. If you miss heavy connectivity with God at this time, God have mercy. Remember now, therefore, the Lord your God in the days of your youth before the evil days come.

You marry, you dismarry. You marry again, you dismarry. Say, “Is Christianity really real?” No, you are fake. You are not genuine.

Someone may be here and just put his hand in his pocket. Let’s go and see what they’re talking about. Who are you pulling your shoulder to, one by one, not group by group? God is with us on a one-on-one basis. Look to Abraham, your father. “Behold the one I called alone and blessed.” God spoke to me that you are absolutely responsible for the outcome of your life, whether you are empowered or not. Today, it will show tomorrow.

I give you power over the scorpions of the enemy, and nothing shall by any means hurt you. Empowerment is to keep you from being molested or assaulted. Seek empowerment. Engage with it to keep your life empowered. Keep fanning the fire of the Holy Spirit by regular consumption of the word, bringing Him new wood to keep the fire upon Him. That’s your job, sir.

Finally, good news: I’ve written unto you, young men, because you are strong. You are in your era of strength, and the word of God abides in you, and you have overcome the wicked one. You are in your era of triumph. Pay attention and take position. You are in for the best of times. Love not the world and the things of the world. The love of the Father is not in him. All that is in the world includes the lust of the eyes, the lust of the flesh, and the pride of life. They rob people of their great tomorrow. You will not be robbed.

How many can see the need for the infilling of the Holy Ghost? Let me see your hands. How many understand now that baptism in the Holy Ghost is not the end of the road but the beginning of the race? How many desire next levels of empowerment on this mountain? That’s what you will have. That’s what we have now.

Before we close tonight, please listen to this. What shall we do? Repent and be converted to become a candidate for empowerment. That’s the due process. You desire empowerment to be free from the assault of the wicked one. Repent and be converted, and you become a candidate for empowerment.

No one empowers the dead. You don’t empower an unborn child. Repent, be converted, and then you become a candidate for empowerment. Don’t miss AYAC 2024; it’s ordained by God for empowerment into a world of exploits, a world of meaning, fulfillment, accomplishment, and securing your place in eternity. Don’t miss it for anything.

So, if you are in this service tonight, in this convention, this opening night, wherever you are around the world hooked onto this service, you say, “Jesus, I want to repent and be converted. I must not miss my place in the empowerment agenda for this convention. Lord, I’m here. Save my soul, forgive my sins, and grant me a brand new beginning.”

You’ll find someone here talking about being a drug baron; somebody has come and said, “Computer scammer,” and Jesus set them free. He is still setting people free today. Illegitimate wealth is a curse; don’t handle it, don’t look for it. There are too many legitimate platforms for making a great living in every nation. Just get empowered; it secures your place.
